I really like the service here! Very well kept and maintained. The pizza was good. I got the Chicago style. It’s pretty bread heavy which I think is okay. Just wouldn’t recommend eating it if you had pretzels or other breads appetizers back to back. I am curious about the thin crust and want to try it next time I come back. Overall very happy with the experience and can see why it’s popular. Club Sandwich was delicious and seriously worth it for the price. Honestly everything is decently priced! Also, sister loved her calzone. She recommends it and wants it again 🙂

First, and before I talk about anything else, I want to mention service as that is so important to me! We usually come to Buddyz at least two times a week! We will often come for the specials, which are great and then we will also come for breakfast. We have had several excellent servers, but the two that I must tell you about right off the bat are Adrian and Joshua! You will not find two nicer guys to serve you anywhere, I believe! They both always have a warm, friendly smile and are very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to their constant willingness to help, they also usually have something to make them cordial and friendly and often to hope you have a little laughter. Are never in a hurry and always will go above and beyond. Several of the girls are exactly the same for example, Kaitlyn and Mia have always been great also. Not that some of the others aren’t, but I don’t always remember the names
Now I will talk about the food… We enjoy the food and have had pizza before as well as several other dishes. The only suggestion I would have is that they prepare their eggs when you ordered them. Specifically the scrambled eggs. I really like my eggs, somewhat soft, but I always seem to get them more well done. They taste OK but when you want them to be soft and you don’t seem to get that, I get the feeling they are made in advance even though I have asked about that and was told they are not. Just love their burgers they are cooked exactly the way you want them and taste just great besides they are 1/2 pound!! The specials are really terrific and good for people who are watching their budget yet looking for a good meal and good service. I don’t think we have ever had a meal served to us that was not hot so despite a couple previous reviews, I saw we have never had a problem with that.
We are also thankful that you can order side items rather than always ordering the more expensive entrée.
We have tried the breakfast pizzas and the regular pizzas and they both taste great and are made with the ingredients you requested and baked the way you ask for them… For example, light or easy as they sometimes call a pizza that is not really brown. Stopped in for lunch, as we have been meaning to try the pizza for a while. We were seated promptly, and our server took our drink orders. She came back quickly with our drinks, and took our order. We ordered a 14 inch Sears Tower pizza, and sat back to wait. Our order came out fairly quickly, and it was great! Everything about the pizza was perfect, lots of toppings, cheese and crust done perfectly. Our server came by a number of times to check on how we were doing, and when it became obvious, she asked if we needed a box for leftovers. Service was great, and pizza was delicious. Only negative would be not a lot to choose from on tap for beer, though there is a fair assortment of bottled beers. I’m sure we will be back to try more from the menu!

Excellent food and service. We stopped for breakfast here and I got the build-your-own breakfast skillet and it was excellent. Good-sized portion for my meal and not ridiculously priced. Looks like they are known for their pizza. I definitely will be back to try it, but breakfast was excellent sitting out on their patio that overlooked the canal. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Their outstanding service has left a lasting impression – attentive, personable, and prompt. They not only helped us decorate the room and set up a PowerPoint presentation but also ensured our every need was met. The food was a resounding success, with guests raving about the delicious variety of dishes served at the brunch. From the moist grilled chicken to the excellent biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict, every bite was a testament to the restaurant’s culinary expertise. Went there for a birthday lunch/brunch. Joaquin was our waiter ( the best). I wanted a beef sandwich – but sometimes the beef is a little spicy and I can’t eat it. I asked Joaquin, he said he’d never tried it but he went and got me a sample of the beef. To say it was delicious was an under statement. And to top it off, they bought out a piece of rainbow striped Birthday cake and enough plates for everyone to have a bite. What a great place – affordable and welcoming!

I’m not typically one to issue 5 star reviews. However, Buddy’z was on their A game on the night of 10/16/2025 and helped the wife and I celebrate our anniversary with two very tasty pizzas. We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust, both sausage, for delivery. Both pizzas were fantastic, had plenty of toppings, great taste, and they arrived quickly, despite having ordered a deep dish. It was actually a little nostalgic calling up a pizza place and placing an order. Not like these corporate pizza places that want everything done online via some Terminator on judgement day taking your order. Better yet? The woman who answered the phone knew what she was doing. I didn’t get the person on day 2 that was left alone on her own to hopefully survive.
I worked food service for almost 20 years in pizza so I know that everything just clicked last night. Now the only question that remains is consistency! Keep it up! We will see!
It all just gelled and it helped our anniversary be a great one.

As a person in a wheelchair restaurants are rife with potential issues.
However I was impressed when one of their workers cam outside to assist me it was a happy surprised. I was to be dining alone.
I was immediately seated and given help by a wonderful waitstaff. So many options that it took a while for me to decide on what pizza I I wanted to order. However my server came back several times checking to see if I had made a choice. No pressure, just friendly support.
The pizza arrived along with my fried calamari…nothing were cooked to perfection. Loved that they offered the green and black olives as options.
All told the staff at BuddyZs made this choice a reward and vastly superior to eating kn tje car. Thank you to the amazing staff.
