I normally enjoy going to Bentley’s but my visit Tuesday night kind of put a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, medium well. It came out very rare and even still squishy in some spots. I’ve attached a photo. After the waitress came back (which was a bit slower than I would have liked – my boyfriend was almost done eating by the time she came back) I told her what happened and she apologized and said she heard me say medium (in which, the burger wasn’t even medium). She sent it back for me and got a new one prepared and I even got half off my burger for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t be writing this review if the second one came out right, but as you can probably guess, it didn’t. I don’t typically like to complain about my food, but I’m not really sure the cook knows what medium well means, because the second one I got was incredibly pink too, but more done than the initial one. I didn’t cut it open until today because I brought it to work for lunch. All in all, I really do enjoy this place and their food typically, but I don’t think I’ll ever be getting a burger from there again. (First photo is the original “medium” burger, second is the “medium well” burger).

I visited here tonight at the recommendation of a co-worker. I had the French onion soup & garlic parm wings. The place was quiet and patrons/staff were super nice. They had a great selection of beers on tap. The food was outstanding. I will be back to try more of their menu.

First timer with the family. Seated quickly during dinner time. The place is pretty big. Clean and bright. Friendly staff. Went for the wings but the burger is what they do best. The wings were good along with various sauces which were tasty. The standout was the tavern fries! Don’t miss out on this excellent cheese covered delight. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The service was very good. The waitress was very polite and helpful. The dining area was nice and clean. Went here for my birthday for the birthday special they offer. The wings were very good. The menu has many great choices as well. I am glad that I came here for my birthday this year. Had a wonderful experience and will return for more wonderful food and service.
My 2nd visit to the fine establishment was just as good as the 1st one. This time I tried the Roma Chicken Sandwich was very good. The chicken wings hands down are the best I have had in a long time. The extra hot wings are on point very well done. Service was very good and very polite.
If you have not been here I would say give it a try.

One appetizer (pub pretzel sticks), one dessert (chocolate chip cookie), and three meals (two burgers and one boneless wings) came to ~$80. The pretzel sticks appetizer set the bar pretty high. I recommend the pretzel sticks.

Frequent patrons might rate it higher. I’m not a tavern person, so I would rate it typical. I celebrated the Birthday wings special for my 81st Birthday. The room that accommodates large parties seems sparce, but serves it’s purpose well. I believe there were probably 6 different styles of wings, with many sides to choose from. Food was good, service was great. Our party of seven enjoyed ourselves for almost 2 hrs (only because Black Friday did not draw a huge crowd. Usually limited to 1-1/2 hrs). Popular venue. Fries and burgers are also good, average prices.

My family,who live near and have been going to bentleys for over 25 years, went in tonight on a a single digit night and were given a front booth w window near front door. It was busy, and we took what we got for table, but the cold air from the windows in our booth had us freezing! We tried to pull the shades down but a staffer came and said they were electric and please dont manually handle them, all 3 booth windows had to stay at same level. We asked “can you just lower all 3, all the way, as we cant imagine any other boothers would mind” and were told they’d ask. Some upper staffer guy came back and said “no, the general manager says the blinds are to stay as is”. We asked the reason why, its nighttime, and were told its just policy. When speaking to our waitress about our confusion about a reasonable request, she said its because we dont want anyone to think we are closed. We said the parking lot is full, outside holiday lights glowing, there are many other windows not near tables clearly reflecting the lights and sports tvs on inside, and got no response at all or any other type of service after that, no offer of coffee or dessert after dinner. Bad form upper management, your 3 restaurants lost some serious biz. My brothers, sisters, parents, and my family have all lived in luther forest for over 20 years and I work down the road from the mill, and we are regulars at all 3 of your restaurants seasonwide. Maybe more time should be spent on bigger issues than the blind settings like promoting out of the box thinkers on the floor and how to control parking lot staff parties!
