Customer service skills suck. I enjoy one cook that’s why I continue to go. If you mess up my order I expect it to be fixed right! No buffalo sauce in/on my wrap. This was yesterday and I called today to let them know she said well. We can give you a couple of buffalo sauces on the side. I spend touch money with these guys to be treated like that.

Grandma Ruby’s Country Cookin’ is a gem in the catalog of Winston Salem’s good places to eat list. If you’re looking for a friendly staff and incredible food, this is it! It’s so tucked away that I’ve overlooked it for years but now that I know, I’ll never forget. They are doing EVERYTHING right!

Nice no frills spot with low priced food. Small interior so get their early to snag a seat. Food was good but the sweet tea was the star of my meal. I absolutely love a good sweet tea and theirs was perfection.

Great little diner with country-style home cooking for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Great, affordable breakfast served all day. My only complaint would be that it feels a little cramped inside when they are busy due to the size of the building.

Small, hole-in-the-wall, pure country cooking. Felt like you were in grandma’s kitchen. Food was amazing, prices were great, and service was friendly as can be.

This little gem is a God send. Grandma Ruby herself was our waitress and she turned us on to adding melted peanut butter over the pancakes and shut the front door that was ridiculously good. Don’t….. just try it. I had papa’s meal and that’s enough for a king. It’s definitely a worth the visit and we will be back.
