Love their bakery goods! Get your authentic pazcki here. I got raspberry, strawberry, rose and plum- filled (they were sold out of the cream filled by the time I got there). I also love the layered desserts they make, as well. Yum!

Roly Poly Bakery is a great Polish grocery store and bakery. They even have a hot food deli counter where you can get really great Polish food to go. Their pierogis and stuffed cabbage are especially delicious. Highly recommend!

My children and I love this market. Especially during the holidays. Their decorations are so beautiful. I won’t share what I get, because there are so many hot items that sell out quick! But he bakery is to die for and I always love getting cured meats and pickles. I haven’t tried their hot food yet, but I love all their cold prepared foods. Reminds me of my Polish auntie.

I started traveling from North of Hartford to Roly Poly in New Britain for the Babka. I continue going for the amazing people, atmosphere, food and service. This Polish supermarket/bakery/deli is an absolute treasure and you don’t have to be Polish to think so! I have Lithuanian roots, my Husband is Ukrainian, and we both find brilliant foods and drinks here. The Breads. Salads. Juices. Honey Beer. Chocolate! There’s so much to enjoy!

You don’t have to speak or read Polish to be able to shop at Roly Poly, although I won’t lie, it’s easier if you do at least one of those things. However, all you really need is Google Translate on your phone and you can read basically any label you need to! The Prices are fantastic as well, so go check it out!

Felt like we were actually in Poland! If you do no speak polish there are staff who can speak English but don’t be surprised if you’re the only English speaker. Every food you could want or imagine from Poland, worth checking out. Lots of delicious meats and pastries.

I was really looking forward to enjoying this cake, but unfortunately, it fell flat. The cake was dry and lacked flavor, tasting nothing like the European-style cake I was expecting. We only managed to finish one slice before deciding to put the rest away. For the price, I expected a moist and delicious treat. Sadly, this cake didn’t meet our expectations. Service was excellent for this reason I put 3 stars instead of 1.

First time going there and I definitely will be going back in the future. It’s wonderful at Christmas time. Very nicely decorated. Of course, I spent twice what my target spending limit was supposed to be.
I love that everyone spoke Polish in the store.

I stopped by this bakery because it was close to my new job and I was in the mood for something sweet. Unfortunately, the experience was immediately off-putting.

When I walked in, there were two women at the counter who looked at me with clear disdain. There was no greeting, no smile, and no attempt at customer service—just an unwelcoming atmosphere that made me feel uncomfortable from the start. As a customer, that first interaction matters, and this one spoke volumes.

Because of how uninviting the environment felt, I chose not to spend my money there and instead went to a nearby Spanish-owned business, where I was met with warmth, respect, and genuine customer service. The difference was night and day.

I believe businesses should be spaces where all customers feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and it’s something potential customers deserve to know before deciding to visit.

Bakery and market with a wonderful selection of Polish goods. We enjoyed the pierogi and paczki. Free parking lot right outside the building.
