My husband enjoyed his steak and cheese sandwich with hand cut fries. We also got a pizza 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese and it was a little disappointing. Nothing bad just okay. We sat outside and the bartender was our wait and she provided great service.

This pizza is legit. Best pizza I’ve had in years. Glad I found this place. Parking is a nightmare though. Super small area for a number of stores.

Literally the best calzone I have ever had, get the goat cheese added in. It truly makes it. Great tasting simple marinara. It was massive, packed full, and affordable. Service was great!

The best hot lasagne anywhere. The garlic knots are amazing. Greek salad. Yum!! We have been going there over 20 years. Nice big dining room for families. We try a lot of other places too but keep going back here for our comfort foods because the other places don’t measure up. Definitely a hidden gem on Airport road.

In town visiting family for the holiday. Grew up going to this restaurant and even worked here back in high school dozens of years ago.

Food was good. Personally the sauce & bread were too sweet and not like I remembered but I know ownership and location has changed.

So for a fair review I’ll say the service was fabulous, quick and accurate. Not really an authentic Italian experience but a good portion of food for the price. I took photos of all of our meals for your viewing.

I had the tortellini.
Other dishes: baked ziti, pizzas, lasagna, sub, shrimp scampi.

I have found a new favorite place to eat in Arden, NC. When you travel as much as I do, being gluten intolerant has been difficult for the last 7 years, but the restaurants are growing. I liked the clean fish tank and the live hanging plants that were hanging throughout the restaurant. You could tell someone loves taking care of them. The restaurant was nice, clean, and the staff were great. I even found a girl from the United Kingdom working there who tried to trick me with her pronounced water. I figured it out by the second try.
The best part about this restaurant is all the gluten-free options. Why? Gluten-free pizza, pastas, and dessert are unheard of at most restaurants. Not here they truly cater to both customers.
I even got to color a picture with crayons while I waited for my bbq chicken pizza on cauliflower crust. It was perfect with the chocolate cake slice.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if you live here or are passing through.
The regular bread pizzas are huge compared to other companies, too.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely

We enjoyed a wonderful late lunch at Acropolis on Sunday—one of the few restaurants open on Airport Road due to the weather. The food was outstanding (the gyros platter was the best we’ve ever had), and the service was exceptional, especially considering they were short-staffed due to the weather. Our server and general manager, Jessica, was absolutely amazing, seamlessly taking care of customers, to-go orders, and everything in between. As always, delicious food at very reasonable prices.

My party of two dropped into Acropolis Pizza after Sunday church service, and we were genuinely blown away. We ordered a salad and a traditional‑crust pizza with white sauce, bacon, ham, pepperoni, pineapple, and garlic. It was hands down the best pizza we’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. We enjoyed a slice there and took the rest home, along with not one but two free orders of garlic knots, which was such a thoughtful surprise.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we asked for a salad without onions, they happily exchanged it with no issue. The salad itself was fresh, and the black olives were delicious. I just wish there were more than two in such a large bowl, especially for the $10 price. That said, everything else about our visit was fantastic.

Great service, unforgettable pizza, and generous hospitality. We will definitely be returning!
