Wine club member here and I frequently come to the Cooper’s hawks locations several times per month. My husband and I love having wine tastings and dinner dates often. I love the dessert options so yummy! My favorite is the Salmon dish and pasta dishes. My husbands favorite is steak and the risotto with creamy potatoes. Our favorites vary from time to time but it’s always very good tasting food. We enjoy it every time, Favorite wines are the sweet ones 🙂 and Sangrias the chocolates are also very good!

I have been to Cooper’s Hawk so many times before, but I really felt after last night’s service I needed to leave a review. I want to shout out our server Karrie for making my birthday dinner so memorable. She was very attentive and went above and beyond the normal service that we have had in the dining room. She even brought out my sister as well little desserts whose birthday is not until next week, and also went around and individually packaged all of our leftovers for each of us. Thank you Karrie and the Cooper’s Hawk team for great service as always!

Coppers Hawk Winery in New Lenox was surprisingly nice. I’ve heard good things about the establishment and decided to check them out! Upon arrival there was a wine bar for wine tasting along with the wine club membership. Pretty decor to match the winery scene.
We was served about a fella named Nick. He was amazing. He was very professional and had great customer service. He made suggestions of his favorite foods and served our table gracefully.
We order the chicken Madeira and The Prime. Both entrees were tasty and delicious. Not to mention lunch specials with entrees under $25 you just can’t beat that! Along with our entrees we order the a red wine called scarlet. Bubbly and half sweet and tart. It was really good considering red wine is really dry. Received a complimentary Crème brûlée. That’s was AMAZING! A nice touch for the birthday! For two people we spent $100! Entrees with wine along with great vibes and company you just can’t beat that!
Check em out!

This New Lenox location is BY FAR my favorite! The service, the ambiance, all of it! Our most recent visit we had Julie at the tasting room and she was phenomenal!! We had the best experience and she explained all off the special wines on the tasting menu and really sold us on a lot of things they had to offer! I’ve been a member for years and have never had someone spend time with us like she did, AND on Valentine’s Day, one of the busiest days of the year! The manger Jeff was also so kind and come and spoke with us on a very busy day which says so much about how well run this establishment is!! 10/10 recommend

When we really need a high quality dining experience, we head to this restaurant. After the last 6 visits, never a bad experience in the restaurant. The menu itself tends to be unique, and the dishes are always cooked to perfection. On our last visit, our wonderful waiter seemed a little pressed with one too many tables; something for the management team to consider. Our favorite wine is the Coopers Hawk white. The key lime pie is really the best in the area.

My family and I come here every Christmas, and always have a wonderful time. This year we tried a bottle of their non-alcoholic sparkling wine, which was surprisingly delicious, fruity, and balanced (not too sweet). I tried something new with their Surf and Turf (Parmesan crusted grouper and pretzel encrusted pork) while my mom had the short ribs, which I need to get next time. I’m looking forward to trying their new non-alcoholic wine of lines which should be coming out next year, I believe.

We recently rejoined the wine club after having a very enjoyable experience at your Copper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant – Plainfield location. That visit reaffirmed why we originally became members of the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club. The menu choices are always excellent!
About a week later, we dined at the Copper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant – New Lenox location, which is closer to our home. Unfortunately, that initial visit did not meet the high standards we had come to expect. Wanting to give the location another chance, we returned just the other day—and we are so glad we did.
Our server, Nick, provided one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered since relocating to the area. He was attentive to our every need, consistently gracious, and demonstrated an exceptional work ethic throughout our meal. His professionalism and warm demeanor truly stood out and completely renewed our confidence in our decision to renew our membership.
Nick is a tremendous asset to your team. While we may (somewhat selfishly!) request him as our server whenever possible, we wanted to ensure his outstanding service receives the recognition it deserves.
Thank you for maintaining such high standards and for team members like Nick who embody them so well.

I cancelled my membership because the food is always too inconsistent. The last four times (at least) I ordered steak, it was over done and last night we got the snapper (which was the special) and it was so over done that we had to cut it with a knife (like a chicken breast )and it was super rubbery. I don’t know any white fish where you need to cut it with a knife! The manager then gave me the excuse that “the chefs were still figuring out the perfect timing to cook the fish”. No professional chef should have to have like trial run for the food that is already being served to guest AND on the special menu! It’s a white fish! A chef at a restaurant that charges the prices they charge, should know how to cook a white fish!
The wine is good. Pasta is typically good. Dessert is good. The service is always great. However, I always have to send my food back, then I’m stuck with no dinner, which has happened too many times, especially for how expensive it is. I’m just done.

A gorgeous restaurant with fantastic food! Gluten free diners will rejoice at the options available. As soon as I said I was wheat allergic; the server detailed the kitchens designated prep area and all of the precautions they take to ensure a safe meal is delivered. This location has plenty of parking, is handicap accessible and can accommodate a larger party or 6-8. Any more than that I would call ahead. Highly recommend this place if you have special dietary restrictions. They were knowledgeable and the service was outstanding.

I recently visited this place and had a good experience overall. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The service was great, no complaints there.
The food, however, was just okay. My dad’s salad was basically like a Wendy’s salad, but it cost $21 here. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special. If you’re looking for amazing food, this might not be the place.
One downside is that it was extremely loud inside, making it hard to actually hear conversations.
If you love wine, though, you’ll probably enjoy it more. Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the food could use improvement.
