I recently ordered penne with vodka sauce from Caliburger, and it was honestly one of the worst pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The sauce tasted off — it was bland but somehow also had a strange, sour flavor that didn’t taste fresh at all. Instead of being creamy and smooth like a good vodka sauce should be, it was watery and barely coated the pasta. The penne itself was overcooked and mushy, like it had been sitting out for a while before being served. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially for the price. I definitely wouldn’t order it again

This restaurant is unprofessional, I asked for 3 cali super burgers with out bacon and ham do to religion, and they seem not to care, it’s the 3 time they do this, first 2 time I gave them the benefit of the doubt but it’s just ridiculous at the 3rd time. I called they said that they couldn’t give me my money back until I return them but I couldn’t because I live 40 minutes away, and they aren’t going to pay for my gas. The proceed to say that it’s going to be a tab on my name saying that they owe me the burgers, now that I called they have no clue of what I’m talking about because everyone is that restaurant is new into the job so they don’t know anything. Don’t order from this place they don’t follow directions, they don’t care about your religion clearly, and they won’t own up to what they did wrong, they find excuses to cover it up. Bad experience never getting food from this restaurant.

Really delicious food!!! Got our order a little bit wrong, make sure you can speak Spanish or have some sort of translation if you go nobody spoke English. Slightly disappointing but what we did get we enjoyed.

Food was great! Cali burger always serves some good Colombian food. Got two super Cali burgers for my girlfriend and I, and the maracuyá was deliciously tart too. The service was very friendly and our food was made quick, given it wasn’t too busy this time.

I recently returned to what used to be one of my favorite spots in Elizabeth. I hadn’t visited in several months, and I noticed they had remodeled the place. Unfortunately, everything else seems to have gone downhill.
We ordered two Hawaiian burgers that came out ice cold inside, and the plain burger for my toddler was likely cold as well, though they didn’t complain. On top of that, the arepa with chicken was so dry it was almost inedible.
To make matters worse, the atmosphere was a bit frustrating. We had several interruptions during our meal from people walking by and disrupting our dinner. Sadly, what used to be a favorite place for me in Elizabeth is no longer somewhere I’d return.
