We have been to multiple ihop in different towns, here we felt cutting corners in portion size. Food taste was as usual. Restrooms were very dirty. I think staff should check the cleanliness of bathrooms periodically.

I use to come here years ago & never had a problem. I guess now they must have new management/workers. Me & my Mother walked in, the guy at the front greated us & showed us to our table. It was freezing in there. About 5-10 minutes late the waitress finally comes over & asks what we want for a drinks, no hi, hello, nothing. We got our drinks, then she came back & asked if we were ready. I said we need a few minutes. She gave me annoyed look & walked away. I ordered a Country Omlet & my Mom ordered a burger (well done) with fries. Took a long time for the food when it was empty. So the burger was pink & the food was barely warm. She sent it back. Took a really long time to get another one. Im halfway done with my meal & guess what?? A frickin bug was on my plate!!!! So we flagged down the waitress & told her what happend & she was ready to take the plate & run to the back with it. I asked if a manager was there. Again they took forever to come over. I explained what happened & told him im not paying for the meal & the manager said give him a minute. AGAIN…we sat there waiting & waiting. We walked out & the waitress came running outside asking if we paid. I was like why, there’s bugs in our food, I’m not paying! She said wait a minute, gets on the phone & starts speaking Spanish (im guessing to the manager), gets off the phone & said “it’s fine”. I just walked away.

WORST IHOP Experience Ever – Avoid This Location
This place is an absolute disaster. We were seated in a booth and then completely ignored for over 15 minutes. No hello, no “we’ll be right with you,” not even a glass of water. Nothing. The only reason anyone showed up at all was because the front-of-house noticed we were still sitting there with zero service. And when someone finally came, it wasn’t even a waiter—it was a manager who clearly didn’t want to be bothered.
To top it off, my side order never came until I chased it down THREE times from the same manager. Completely unacceptable.
No service, no attention, nothing for kids to do while waiting—it was just a miserable experience all around. Honestly, I don’t know how this location is still open. I knew the reviews for this spot were bad, but I gave it a chance. Huge mistake.
Do yourself a favor: skip this place. Drive the extra 10 minutes to the Route 27 IHOP where they actually know how to treat customers. This location is a joke and I will never be back.

I visited the North Brunswick location at 11:00 AM and was extremely disappointed. The bathrooms were filthy, which made me question the kitchen’s hygiene. Additionally, the food was terrible: my sunny side up eggs were served cold and the entire plate was soaked in grease. This was a very poor experience and I expect better standards from IHOP

The food was good and very tasty. We went early in the morning, but the tables and seats were not cleaned yet. Coffee refills were unlimited, which was great. There were fewer staff members in the morning, but there was plenty of space available. Overall, a decent experience.

Matthew was our server and he was amazing! Great bedside manner and friendly. IHOP updated their menu and they have more options which is great!
Their fruits were super fresh-no bruises and the meal was delicious.
They were somewhat busy but the wait time was 10-15 minutes for a table of two. Their turn around time is great.
11/10 would recommend to a friend.

We absolutely adore this neighborhood IHOP! It’s just fantastic, with its amazing service and prime location. The people who work here are incredibly courteous and always go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Whenever we have the opportunity, we thoroughly enjoy dining at this delightful establishment. Oh, and let’s not forget about the menu! It’s simply marvelous, offering a plethora of options to satisfy any craving. And as an added bonus, they even provide a generous senior discount for those of us who are 55 years young. We can’t get enough of this place!

Unfortunately we waited near 30 mins for any staff to take our order. To make it worst I had to look for someone to see if they can find our waiter or waitress. A gentleman volunteered to take our order and was kind enough to apologize for the other waiter that never showed up. The management in this place is ridiculous. You don’t see a head staff coordinating the waitstaff. Overall the food was great but this is the first ihop that I had this type of experienced.

Walked in with my wife and son, was seated immediately but as we sat the guy moved the table to one side which was weird. After being seated the waitress walked by after about 5 minutes and told us I will be with you in a few minutes. After 10 minutes of not even being offered water or drinks, we just got up and left. The place was not packed and on the way out we noticed 4 employees putting the knives and forks together for the tables. I thought they could have had them working the floor which would have made the place run smooth. We left to Perkins in east brunswick and as we sat down the waitress first words was welcome and can I grab you anything to drink. Customer service is everything.

Sad. We had the German crepes, they were crunchy hard and obviously not freshly made. The 1 sad slice of lemon was easily 3 days old and there was 1 little wedge. The sausage looked days old, the friut with the waffle was a tropical mix. DO NOT RECOMMEND! $55.00 for 2 simple breakfasts.
