The staff — including the servers, DJ, and host — were absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made the atmosphere feel warm and pleasant, and I really appreciated their attitude.
The cappuccino was delicious, with a nice espresso flavor. However, the presentation could be improved — the drink was slightly spilled, and the cup left marks. It also seemed like the cup wasn’t cleaned properly, as there was a visible residue on the bottom.
Unfortunately, the smell inside the restaurant was not very pleasant — it reminded me of old furniture, which made the overall experience a bit uncomfortable.
I ordered a salmon sandwich with avocado. The fish itself was very tasty, but the pickled red onion completely overpowered the flavor — it had too much vinegar. The bread also had an unpleasant aftertaste, probably from being fried in veeery old oil.
On the other hand, the ricotta pancakes were excellent — perfectly soft and not too sweet. They came with berries and maple syrup for those who like extra sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised by the dessert and really enjoyed it.
Overall, this place has potential. The food is not bad, and the team is genuinely kind and attentive. It just needs a bit of cleaning, refreshing, and a small update — and it could truly shine again

Delicious food and drinks with a packed menu and rotating seasonal specials! This is definitely a local hotspot and neighborhood gem — the regulars seated next to us at the bar were greeted warmly by multiple staff members, making it clear we’d chosen a great place to dine on a late Wednesday evening. I’d absolutely come back if I lived here!

We had a funeral luncheon and it was out of this world. They prepared special menus with in loving memory of my husband. All the tables were set with beautiful tablecloth and cloth napkins, started with delicious bread, salad, pasta then main meal, and mini cannolis. Everyone raved about the food and service. Staff was kind and very attentive

My husband and I stopped into Piccolo’s after searching online for a restaurant in the area that has ability to host a private party. We found this gem tucked away in a strip mall. They had great reviews and food looked great online. So we took a ride to try it out. We immediately loved the ambiance of the place as soon as we walked in with a beautiful bar in the front part of the restaurant with some high top tables, open part of kitchen in front where they make pizzas and sell beers etc in cold refrigerated section.
Samantha greeted us and boy was she a sweetheart! So pleasant and helpful. Little did we know there was more to the restaurant as she took us to the dining room and further back to the private room we were interested in. Beautiful ambiance.
We then met Caesar, the manager, who offered to have us do a tasting. We hadn’t even expected that. We were planning on ordering dinner. Caesar brought over 2 salads, 2 pasta dishes, 2 entrees, appetizer, and cannolis ! Everything was delicious, abundant and tasty. The staff was pleasant and accommodating! Wonderful lunch today! Highly recommend the berry salad. Host and wait staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. First time I’ve been here since it was Tomatoes. Will definitely be back soon.

I used to eat great food from pizzas to entrees at the Doylestown and Pennington locations. Just delicious. Moved to the Pacific North West 5 years ago and cant find food like this anywhere. Stopped in today on a trip back home and Piccolo’s still has it! Missed you Piccolos! Wish I could take one of everything home to the west coast to show them how pizza and Italian food is done. Keep up the great food!!
