Neat place for a great breakfast. I had the potato skillet. The combination of 3 kinds of potatoes makes it so good. The sweet potato with the savory chorizo sausage was a flavorful blast. I was definitely full and couldn’t finish it all. My husbands omelet was very good. He’s a BnG snob so he did rate that a 3 star. He says biscuits was dry and dense but gravy was decent. Loved the option to get a bottle of champagne take our own mimosas. We would come back again

The food was bland, tasteless, and dry. Service was mediocre and took a long time for anything, at no point were we asked if we wanted a refill on drinks. There were 2 other tables in our areas and there server was attentive, ours was never around.
The floor was clean, however that didnt stop a bunch of fruit flies from buzzing around us the whole time. If we had been at the bar near the fruit and syrups it would have been understandable.
I ordered the Carolina chicken salad, and there were more croutons than chicken, my dressing was incorrect, the chicken had zero seasoning or hot Carolina sauce.
I’ve been here multiple times to give it another chance and generally the service is good but the food usually sucks.

If you’re in Springfield, this is one of those local gems you don’t want to miss. Great food, friendly staff, and a really welcoming atmosphere make it a top pick. The patio is my personal favorite — relaxing, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a meal or drink on a nice day. Every visit has been consistent, from attentive service to well-prepared dishes that hit the mark. It’s the kind of place you can swing by any time, whether for a casual meal, a small get-together, or just to hang out and soak in the vibe. Totally recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable spot with good food and great energy.

As a large group, service was good and steady. However, when it came to the food, it lacked flavor. I git the mac and cheese, which should not be hard to make, but apparently it was. My friend got the pork sirloin, which she described as “an overpriced chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a.” On the other hand, my other friend got the salmon which he said was great. Overall, this wasn’t a bad experience, it just wasn’t a great one.

This place has a fun atmosphere and is very close to the capital. They have a great bar. The pickled cheese curds are very tasty. I loved the bourbon glazed short ribs. We also tried the famous local dish called the horseshoe. It is a lot of food!

Good but dine in server was not watching her tables very well and was worried about video chatting with a guy friend on her phone instead of attending to tables litterly right behind her. Good live band that was appreciated needs advertising for that to bring g people into the establishment. First time in and unfortunately due to the service it will be one of the last picks for me when introducing people to the local restaurants.

Predatory pricing, unresponsive owner.
I was charged over $25 for an impossible horseshoe and a soda water from tap for lunch. Insane price for a simple lunch.
The $4 upcharge for an impossible burger substitute is ridiculous when I can pay $2.50 for an impossible patty at the store, not the wholesale price they pay. This is the charge IN ADDITION to what I would pay for the beef patty version, so they are not simply adding cost to make up for expenses, they are trying to massively increase their profit margin.
Fine, I knew that beforehand, I decided I would pay it and just not come back.
I ordered a soda water too. Not bottled, just a plain soda water from the bar. They charged me $3.50 for it without warning me. Most restaurants do not charge anything for a soda water. The c02 for one glass of soda water costs the restaurant $0.02 max. They are charging approximately 175x more than what they are paying and not warning customers in advance. Not cool.
Sucks because the servers are generally good and the food is too, but I won’t be back.
I was in a hurry to get back to work plus the lunch was with an old friend I hadn’t seen in years, so opted not to make a fuss at the time, but it didn’t sit well. I sent the owner a message through their website and explained the situation and gave him a chance to rectify as I didn’t want to jump to a negative public review.
He did not respond.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a very late lunch. Before I continue my review I want to say that the place was clean, the atmosphere was good, and the staff was attentive and friendly. My low ranking is solely about the food. I heard from other reviews that they had a famous short-rib, so I ordered this with waffle fries, and a side salad with Italian dressing. The Italian dressing arrived with my salad separately, and the dressing had about a tablespoon of just oil floating on the top which I wasn’t a fan of. The short rib was tough, and hard to cut through. I received 3 chunks on my plate and about 1/3 of the meat overall was inedible fat chunks. The waffle fries were good and crispy, and I ordered a side of ranch to dip in which was delicious and I could tell it was made fresh in the kitchen. My boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich with Brussels sprouts as his side. He liked the sandwich (looked good to me too), but he said the Brussels sprouts were bitter, so he only ate two pieces. Overall, I don’t think i would come here again for food, no fault of the staff, cleanliness, or atmosphere, as those were all great.

Nice place. Our server was awesome. They put up with picky chef husband. The food was mid. I had the ribs and they were decent. However, the Mac n cheese was alright, but the short rib on top was not it. The short ribs were dry, tough, chewy, fatty, and flavorless. But let me shout to the rooftops about the sweet potato fry dip. My chef husband couldn’t stop going on and on about how good it was! So there were some hit or misses on the food, server was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice although the music was kind of loud.

This place is hitting it out of the park in all areas. This was my 1st visit. I might make this my ‘go-to’ lunch spot. I drove there, ordered, got my food, ate, and paid in exactly 30 min. Lots of smiles and friendly faces. I checked their specials while walking in. So, I got the Gumbalaya soup and the Turkey BLT $13.00.
