The focaccia with high-quality olive oil and balsamic was a great start. The wood-fired Pizza Regina was perfect, and the seafood tagliatelle, along with the steamed fish, were outstanding, beautifully cooked, crunchy yet tender, served with vegetables and garnished with pickled onion and garlic. The strawberry citrus drinks were refreshing .
The dessert was unforgettable: the hazelnut ice cream was wow, with an amazing aftertaste, and the crème brûlée was also perfect. We paid around $200 on the pricier side, but it was absolutely worth it for the food, service, and overall experience. Highly recommended for special occasions and group dining.
We started with wine and beer, paired with complimentary bread, before sharing a pasta and pizza. Everything from the food and drinks to the dessert was absolutely delicious. The ambience was relaxing, the restaurant was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We definitely recommend Verace and look forward to coming back to try more dishes!
10/10 congratulations!
Ps: a few days later we ordered their pizzas to eat at our hotel. Margerita and Quattro Formaggi. Also extremely well made neapolitan pizzas!!
The atmosphere was good. Vibrant, happening. Enjoyable.
Our server was unfriendly and honestly looked like he didn’t wanna be there. I’m not sensitive to that kind of thing, but he was honestly not warm and welcoming. Not rude, just looked like he didn’t care at all.
He said someone else would take care of us, which I welcomed. It took about 15 minutes for the other server to come over. And it was the exact same thing. No smile, not feeling welcomed.
The main course came within 8 min. Really fast. It was cold within 5 minutes. That screams microwave.
Margarita drink was good. Old Fashioned was definitely not good. It was actually quite bad.
It was our anniversary dinner. Came because of some great reviews.
Left disappointed. We dropped $200 and, honestly, I felt
The front door hostess wished us a good night without looking up.
I was honestly quite disappointed.
We started with the mussels for our antipasti, and they were cooked to perfection. Fresh, full bodied, and flavorful. We requested them “spicy” though they could’ve used just a bit more heat. The portion size was impressively generous for the price; easily shareable among four people, though recommended for two.
The house-made bread was the perfect companion, soaking up every drop of the San Marzano tomato sauce. You can really taste the quality in their olive oil and balsamic vinegar, clearly sourced with care.
Mains
The Ravioli Funghi was a standout; rich, creamy, and comforting. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked, and adding their house chili oil gives the dish a beautiful kick. It’s the kind of meal that feels like a warm hug.
The Iberico Pork Chop was simply phenomenal. Tender, juicy, and beautifully balanced with just the right amount of fat. The rosemary jus tied everything together seamlessly. Served with green beans and crispy-yet-soft potatoes that were downright addictive. The only downside? We wished there was more, the portion size left us wanting just another bite.
Dessert
We finished the night with a complimentary scoop of gelato. Nothing special here but it was a kind gesture as we were celebrating a birthday.
️ Service
Service was wonderful, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The staff managed to fit in our last-minute larger reservation without a hitch and made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal.
✨ Ambience
The place was buzzing, even on a weekday night. The atmosphere is dark, lively, and modern, making it perfect for both casual and special dinners. The dining space is on the smaller end and seating can be limited. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but street parking is usually free during dinner time.
⭐ Overall Rating: (4.5/5)
An outstanding dining experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients and dishes that deliver comfort. Between the impeccable service and cozy yet lively setting, it’s easy to see why this spot is always packed.
