I had a wonderful dining experience at Taj Mahal Restaurant, and the food truly impressed me. The London Chicken Tikka Masala was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, paired perfectly with soft, buttery garlic naan that soaked up every bit of the sauce. Each bite felt comforting and well balanced, making it a satisfying main dish.
We started with Papdi Chaat, which was crispy, tangy, and bursting with layers of sweet and spicy flavors — a great way to kick off the meal. The Chicken Manchow was warm and hearty, with just the right amount of spice and texture, making it both comforting and flavorful.
Dessert was the perfect ending with Gajar ka Halwa, which tasted rich and homestyle, followed by the Taj Magical Kulfi, creamy and nostalgic. On top of the great food, the ambiance was super amazing — warm, spacious, and perfect for a family gathering or birthday dinner. Overall, Taj Mahal Restaurant is a fantastic spot in Livermore for delicious Indian food, great vibes, and memorable celebrations.

We love the food and drinks at Taj Mahal. They recently updated their menu and the new items are absolutely fantastic. I’ve tried multiple appetizers and main course items from their menu and they’re fantastic. The tres leches cake on their dessert menu was also super tasty.
My favorite drinks are Char Minar and Shahjahan. Shahjahan is absolutely uniquely amazing. It has a touch of rose jam (gulkand) and Indian paan.
The service is excellent. On every occasion we’ve gone there, the servers have been super polite.
The music they play is also quite peppy and enjoyable.
On our last visit there, we met the owner Mr. Bajaj. It was a pleasure chatting with him, learning a thing or two about what it takes to run a restaurant here and talking about old times in Delhi.
I also like the fact that this is a very spacious restaurant. They don’t try to cram tables close to each other. They leave ample space between tables and this is something that is much appreciated.
We want to thank the owner and staff for their hospitality and for running this absolutely wonderful gem of a place! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Taj Livermore. We ordered the Paneer Lazeez, Paneer Makhani, Onion Kulcha, and Garlic Naan, and everything was delicious. The paneer dishes were rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the breads were fresh and perfectly cooked.
What really stood out was the hospitality—the owner was incredibly sweet and made a genuine effort to check in with us and get our feedback, which we really appreciated. The ambience was also excellent, with top-notch lighting and great music that made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Taj Mahal! From the warm welcome by Vikas Bajaj to the attentive service and exceptional food, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, and every dish was full of authentic flavor and artistry. It’s clear that Vikas and his team truly care about their guests and take pride in delivering a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We hosted a cultural event at Taj Mahal Livermore and were delighted by the amazing hospitality and attention to detail. To start of, the place was beautifully decorated, and was equipped with all the things we needed for an audio/video presentation. The food was delicious, really enjoyed the mocktail and cocktails. Our guest enjoyed a variety of foods and everyone left happy and content :). I had the cauliflower koliwada abd Peshawari chicken, both were finger licking good. We will be back again to try out more items on their menu. A shoutout to the crew who were attending on us and our guest. They kept a close eye on what we wanted throughout the evening and went above and beyond to make it a memorable evening for us and our guests. Thank you!

I tried this place yesterday and was very impressed with the service, ambience and taste of food.
Ordered mango cooler which was very refreshing and delicious, schezwan chicken and masala papad for appetizer and Daal Bukhara, Champaran Goat , Tibetan Momos for main course. Everything was very delicious and rich in taste, consistency and flavors.
The ambience of the place is very good, chic, extremely spacious and huge and great to dine in for special occasions as well. Decor is very tastefully done and refined.
The service was great & fast and we were helped the entire time by the very courteous bartender.
When we mentioned that it was our anniversary, he even treated us on the house to a mouth melting warm lava cake, ice-cream with nuts and festively decorated.
Overall, I really liked the place and their food and look forward to going back there again.
P.S. wanted to take and post pics of the food items but realized it after the food was already gulped down
Thankfully, the only picture I took was of the Mango Cooler drink and the Lava cake.

My cousin Simran recommended Taj Mahal, and I’m so glad we went! I brought my whole family and everything was great—the atmosphere was warm, the drinks were solid, and the food was amazing. The Szechuan chicken was especially good, and the butter chicken was spot on. Service was amazing too- shout out to Ajit who gave us wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back!
