I have order from this place many times over the years and the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place has progressively gone down hill.
I gave them one last chance this past Saturday and I ordered Pork Fried Rice, One Egg Roll, Steamed Dumplings and a Wonton Soup.
The soup and steamed dumplings were ok.
The eggroll was a dried out shriveled piece of crap that I threw in the garbage. The Pork Fried Rice which I was really looking forward to was horrible. It was dried out, the rice tasted old, all it had in it was pork and onions, no peas, carrots, vegetables, or egg.
Real disappointment, and the place is dirtier than ever.
I doubt the people that own the place care what anyone thinks but I wont ever be going back there and I will tell others not to waste their time.

General Tso meal was OK, chicken cooked too much, was very tough. Decent size portions, quick service, a bit pricey though. Hard to find a good Chinese food place saldy.

Usually food is decent, tonight food went into garbage, called and told them, got a Sorry to hear, then dead silence. They just lost a long time customer, no, I’ll replace it or give credit., local business should have more courtesy and intelligence to make good. Small town words travel fast. wow, I’m seriously impressed! First of all, all of the staff were very friendly, and became friends quickly. When i was picking it up, they were super fast with the food and was still incredibly hot! I highly recommend the crab Rangoon, because they’re really crispy on the outside and hot, sweet and savory in the inside!! you should go visit main moon at New Fairview!

Some of the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. It’s 10 minutes from my house. The food takes 10 minutes no matter what you order. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality, and quantity of food you get. I hope nothing ever happens to this place because I’ll lost definitely kill myself if they go anywhere.

I have been ordering food here for the past 4 years and have always had a good experience. Tonight however, I ordered through door dash because my baby was sleeping at home. My door dash driver did not go pick up the food, and someone from Main Moon called me, yelling at me to coming pick up my food. He told me to call door dash and figure it out. I tried, but was on hold for 15 minutes. When I told him I couldn’t leave my house due to my sleeping baby, he continued yelling at me, asking who was going to come pick up the food he made, that people are starving, and that I needed to come pick it up. When I said I couldn’t leave the house, he hung up on me. While I understand they made a product and don’t want it to go to waste, I don’t appreciate being yelled at over the phone. They chose to allow door dash to deliver their food. I had already paid for my food. The customer support at door dash handled the situation, but the man I spoke to made me never want to eat their food again.

I am sad 🙁 been getting Chinese food here for my whole life, almost always get it on my birthday. and now it’s suddenly different, why is everything spicy? please go back to your old recipes… everything was acceptable and cooked well but it’s not the main moon it always was. even the fried dumplings and egg rolls are spicy! why the sesame chicken?? if you want spicy order general tso..I’m scared to get the chicken lo mein and find that’s changed too, please please please go back to how it used it be

Best Chinese take out around. I lived in New Fairfield for 23 years and just recently moved to New Milford and I still make the drive for their awesome food. The family that runs it is always very nice and accommodating!

We were very disappointed with our delivery order. We placed through GrubHub and it arrived very quickly, but most of the food was incorrect(not the wrong bag of food just wrong sides etc). We spoke to the restaurant who stated that GrubHub drivers pack the food themselves and that they’re responsible for the food in the bag. Not sure about you all, but GrubHub doesn’t/isn’t supposed to be packaging food the restaurant is supposed to seal the packaged food up into a bag before the driver picks it up.
