I come to this McDonald’s every single day of the work week! Literally EVERY DAY! I work at a dealer right down the street and I work Monday-Saturday. Never been rude to anyone. As a matter of fact I have always praised them! Today a guy that is at the drive thru every day decided he wanted to be completely disrespectful for no reason! I ordered a mocha Frappe and the lid popped off when I went to set my drink in my cup holder splashing the drink on my council. I politely asked for a different lid because upon looking at it it was split on one side. The guy flat out told me NO! And he wasn’t polite or anything. Just NO !” I was like forreal I can’t have a different lid” while trying to show him the split and he doubled down and tripled down Rude as hell! So I asked for a manager! A young lady came to the window and apologized and said that’s how McDonald’s had been sending the lids and I showed her the split, she then gave me a different lid. Then the guy that was still standing right there said “BYE” rude as hell! Antagonizing me…now I know it mean a damn thing to anyone there but I just lost a family member and today is literally my first day back at work in almost a week! I told the immature young child he didn’t need to act like that and he repeated BYE, BYE BYE AND SHOOED ME AWAY WITH HIS HANDS! That is UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!!! I work in customer service every day. And in the auto industry we deal with some of the WORST DISRESPECT YOU CAN IMAGINE!! I have never spoken to a customer or treated a customer like that!! Now I can never go to this restaRant again because I’m always gonna worry he is going to mess with my food or drinks! You guys should maybe hire a MAN instead of a little boy! Men don’t conduct themselves in such a manner!

No working number, no refund cause my boyfriend left the buns with ketchup at home cause who would have thought they would want that back. Kids were full off the other nuggets and fries and stuff and didn’t even want the burger by the time he got back. The no working number for years is insane to me and so are these burgers with nothing on them! Not 1… not 2… not 3… but 4!!!

McDonald’s is absolutely terrible now.
Especially the Fox Lake, Illinois store.
They can’t take an order correctly, the food is cold, they forget items in the bag.
I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it has happened 3 times now.
The accents are so strong, you can’t understand what they are saying.
I WILL NOT go back.

If I could give this McDonald’s zero stars I would I had three simple meals. They sat me for half an hour then I walked inside and they acted like they forgot about me, but the staff was laughing like it was some type of joke. Then I asked for the receipt which I didn’t get and I had to wait another five minutes for a piece of paper the most unprofessional group of employees I’ve ever seen from the manager all the way down if you live in the area, I’d recommend going anywhere but here.

Waited 10 minutes for chicken nuggets and fries and actually had to go get it at the front. Then went back to the counter because the food was cold. Four to five employees just looked and didn’t attempt to resolve the matter. lol. Probably no hablo English, tho this is America. Ridiculous.

I went through the drive-thru, paid for my order online , receive my drinks and they told me to pull forward and park because my food “would be right out.” I sat there for over 30 minutes. Nobody ever came out. Cars that ordered after me were getting their food and leaving while I just sat there like an idiot. Finally I went inside to ask what was going on. The employees barely acknowledged me, kept working on other orders, and when I asked about my food one of them rolled their eyes and muttered something. Then two employees started talking to each other in Spanish right in front of me, laughing, while completely ignoring that I was standing there waiting for help. It felt 100% intentional and incredibly rude.This location has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen at a McDonald’s. Management clearly doesn’t care. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else in Fox Lake. Never coming back.

We went to this McDonald’s at 3am on a Sunday morning 06/05/2022 thinking it would be a quick dinner after a LONG day. We sat at the intercom for almost 10 minutes before being greeted so I could place my order. When I was placing my order the girl taking it had a very rude tone and barely let me speak. We ordered a double quarter pounder meal, and another large fry. I asked if they had milkshakes because it was being advertised all over the board just to be told “we aren’t serving shakes right now” OF COURSE the icecream machine was “broken” as well. After she rushed me to finish my order and didn’t have the items I wanted I drove up to the second window where I again had to wait almost 10 minutes. Now don’t get me wrong I have NO issue with waiting because 9 times out of 10 that means they are making my food fresh but BOY was I wrong! When I received the bag we tasted a couple fries (as we all do because they’re best hot) they were the most disgusting fries we have ever tasted, extremely rubbery, ice cold and had about 5 pounds of salt on them. Once we got home, we took out the burger we ordered just to see the box crushed and mangled, keep in mind we didn’t crush this bag or step on it in anyway. The burger inside was intact but it was extremely cold and drenched in grease. For spending $18.50 at a FAST FOOD place I expect to get something atleast edible. For it being a night shift you’d expect the food to be half way decent considering they are most likely sitting on their phones doing absolutely nothing. Don’t even bother going here, we ended up throwing it all away.
