A really excellent meal with great service and drinks. To start, the parking was very available. Next, while we had a reservation and it was busy, there’s plenty of seating and none of it is cramped. The bartender/server was friendly and quick, and the cocktail list was more than enough. The chicken parm was well cooked with great sauce. I did the vodka and my wife did the famous tomato, and both were great. To cap it off, I’d highly recommend the fluffy and light tiramisu. We’ll definitely come back here.

a great restaurant for lovers of italian food! i had the margarita pizza and rigatoni vodka, and both were great! the pizza has a very flavorful sauce, and the crust was nice and doughy with a slight char. our sever sami was equally excellent, i don’t think i saw her stop running around once with how busy she was, but she made sure to check in on us as much as she could, and made the experience feel very welcoming!

Once again the food did not disappoint here at LaScala’s in Villanova. We did come on a Friday night peak dinner time and had to grab 2 seats at the bar to eat. The table wait was one hour. Overall everything was great however was a bit chilly being closer to the door. Guess I’m just getting older. Love my cheese steak egg rolls!

My husband and I sat at the bar and Sami was great. She greeted us from the moment we walked in. She was super personable and her sense of humor shined through. She has the perfect personality and demeanor for her job. She was knowledgeable about the menu and knew how to make a drink. I would definitely come back. The food came out hot and the service was great.

We recently hosted a private event at LaScala’s FIRE Villanova, and it was truly outstanding. We celebrated our son’s first birthday in their private dining room, and it was absolutely perfect. The general manager, Brielle, was exceptional—she allowed us to set up a ball pit and a small play area for the kids. She worked with us beforehand to design a floor plan that suited our guest count and customized the menu for the occasion. As always, the food and service were remarkable at LaScala’s in Villanova. It’s undoubtedly our favorite spot along the Main Line and an excellent choice for hosting private events!

Great experience during a client lunch yesterday. Sami was training Debbie and both were fantastic.
Sami seems like a great trainer, I overheard her give compliments to Debbie throughout the lunch- which was really heartwarming.
Service 10/10- my diet coke refill magically appeared. The arancini were incredible. The beet salad was fantastic.
Nice atmosphere for lunch, not too loud, great smells, and the concept up a kitchen just delivering food when ready is GREAT.
Definitely will return.

We arrived at LaScala and we were seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful and new. It’s very open, clean, and contemporary.
They tell you in advance that they have a ready up kitchen, meaning when a dish is ready, that dish comes out right away, even if other meals aren’t ready. We were good with this!
My daughter ordered the Rigatoni with meatballs and ricotta cheese. The dish had great presentation and the meatballs were delicious. She didn’t care for so much ricotta and had to scoop most of this off. This dish arrived within 2 mins.
My wife had the fig pizza. Again it was presented beautifully. Her only criticism was the pizza needed more fig. This pizza arrived in 10 minutes.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan and was disappointed in my meal. The presentation was good but the chicken wasn’t good. It was paper thin and tough to chew. The pasta and sauce were bland. My meal arrived within 15 mins.
The biggest disappointment was the slower service. We had to waive down a different server to get more water. I’m not sure if the server was also working the bar but the lack of attention was disappointing. It wasn’t busy so I don’t think we were being unreasonable with our expectations. We would like to try LaScala again. It was good experience overall.

Guess who has Sushi!!!! Guess who doesn’t like sushi, me! HOWEVER, I ate it tonight and it was amazing!!! They don’t use imitation crab, it’s sooo good!! New sushi menu and was surprised by live music tonight. It was actually nice, not too loud.
Our server, Jen, is the best!! Very attentive, just loved her.
