Despite the view, it was a disappointing experience. After three rounds of drinks, our food still hadn’t arrived—we waited for more than an hour. Lovely atmosphere, decor, location and facilities. Massive terrace (newly expanded) opposite the falls, and comfortable interiors.
Menu is concise and well considered. We had a range of different mains and a few desserts, everyone was happy with the food quality and presentation. Great wine list by the bottle or glass.
We’ve been here a dozen times in the past two years either for lunch, goûter or just drinks, and happy with our experience every time.
Service is good, friendly, and the staff are well informed on the menu.
There are two choices of main for the kids menu, although my 7year old wanted the main menu cheeseburger. The kitchen gladly prepared some vegetables for our 1year old. We weren’t offered a high chair but not sure if the baby was mentioned when we booked and we always carry a booster seat so no issues there.
There’s a football table and colouring pens to keep the family entertained.
Parking can be tricky in the summer but there are bigger car parks a short walk away for visitors to the falls.
We will be back for certain.

Food was somewhat disappointing and really hit-or-miss depending on what you ordered. Steaks came with a green-goo-garlic-butter which overpowered the entire course. The mussels were grilled to extinction. That said, the desserts were top notch and by far, one of the best tiramisus I’ve had in France. I would recommend the fish and other meals, outside of the steak.

Horrible food and service. Never go there for barbecue with the family, because even if you come with 2 year old kid who eat nothing, you still pay full price for him. This is what I need on the cesh desk and never before. Cocktails are bad also, never order there mohito or Pina colada.

Told us they were closing but we could order drinks. We ordered drinks and we never got them. When we asked they said they forgot it and they were already closed. How hard could it possibly be to make 4 coffees??

Terrible service. Having to wait 20 minutes for a wrong cup of coffee and only half the orginial order, I highly recommend to find another place that does not ruin your experience of the beautiful cascade
