The experience at paninis on 11/22/25 was not a great one. The server we had was absent for most of our meal. The only time we saw him was when we flagged him down 2-3 times for refills or issues. Music was playing so loud the server couldn’t even hear us.
For apps, we ordered the pretzel sticks and pickle chips. The pretzels came out fine but the pickle chips (keyword chips) did not. The pickle chips came out as fried spears which was not what the menu states. Regardless we were not going to make a big deal.
When the entrees came out, our pizza came out raw in the center which was not noticed until 2 slices in. At that point we stopped eating the pizza. The grilled cheese came out under cooked (Soggy bread and unmelted cheese in the center). The food runner spilled Italian dressing all over a member of the party and didn’t apologize.
We flagged down the server to check out because we were over it. Our main gripe was the raw pizza dough. Brought up all the issues we had. He said he had to talk to his manager since we had eaten the food. Told us we need to bring up issues before we eat. Manager didn’t come out to speak with us and the server comped only the fried pickle chips/pickle spears. Gave us attitude while checking out.
TLDR: Wouldn’t recommend Westlake Paninis due to horrible service, raw food, and overall unpleasant atmosphere.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and can’t get this place off my mind! The bartender, I believe Kristen, was amazing. She was wonderful, friendly, and made an amazing Old Fashion. I don’t remember a place I felt more comfortable while watching the game!

From the host to both servers( had to switch do to a big table) all were extremely helpful and nice but the star of the show is the cook who made my Romanini burger. Cooked perfectly and look at that gorgeous layering,
Speaking as someone who has worked in the back of the house for 40+ years, this is a cook who cares and is definitely a keeper.

Rude servers and Bartenders. Negative and depressing atmosphere. Screwed up my order and All the employees are miserable to be there and that they don’t care about their job. Zero customer service. My husband and I are disgusted from an experience at the bar during the Football game when the male bartender was so Nasty to a young lady, trying to order a drink, and then he came from behind the bar with another employee (a female) and began to shove her and push her.
We tried again today during the football game and wish we didn’t as they are still just as unpleasant as last time. Food is fair at best. I do not feel safe going back there after what I witnessed On top of the awful vibes that the place sets off.

Panini’s offers some of the best fried pickles and wings in all of Northern Ohio.
I always ask them for extra crispy and they never disappoint with fresh crunchy and hot the wings delivered with delicious dry rub.
It was kind of nice seeing that they still haven’t updated the old Cleveland Indians memorabilia in the restaurant.

We tried the hot pretzels, the pizza & salad and the Italian Wrap- food was pretty good! Only slight disappointment was the pizza crust being really hard, but otherwise the food was fine.

Italian panini, couldn’t fit it in my mouth… Late night food after baseball game.. late night menu different than lunch/dinner menu..panini not grilled on late night menu, more of an overstuffed sandwich.. still really GOOD… I have updated my review to reflect my most recent visit, I did not take a picture but I had the Italian sandwich and loaded fries.. The sandwich was good although nothing special and the loaded fries were uneatable they were definitely not fresh. Our appetizer did not come out until after our food was already served with the token “the kitchen messed up” and it was obviously thrown together rapidly… I probably won’t be returning since there is no consistency in their food…

Attempted to go here for lunch for our first visit ever. It was a Guardians playoff game and they only scheduled 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. However, it wasn’t even packed. But no waiter in site. Sat ourselves and no one greeted us for 10 minutes. Decided to use the bathroom before we left and the female bathroom had broken toilets and my husband said the urinals weren’t clean. Neither bathroom had paper towels. Was excited to give this place a try but didn’t even get to. Don’t know if I’ll be back
