I stopped in for a late lunch, and had the delicious Liver and Onions, in honor of my mother who really loved it. And what great value it is to get an entree with 2 sides, bread, and dessert for $19 99.
As a boy we used to eat at the original Piccadilly Cafeteria in Baton Rouge and the food is as it was then.
I got my childhood favorite, the Chopped Steak, Sweet Potato Casserole, and green beans to take home and thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
I will make regular stops in the future!

Wonderful service, good atmosphere, however; the food area was extremely lacking in flavor. Really the only thing out of the 6 things I got that had flavor was my drink. The chicken had a little flavor but nothing to write home about. The mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cornbread, and pie were all very bland. I understand this may be an establishment for older folks and I understand not a lot of people can have a lot of seasonings but come on, for only my drink to have the most flavor and to pay over $30 for two people is ridiculous. This place is not what it used to be 10 years ago. I don’t think it’s worth the money anymore.

The chopped steak with gravy was pretty good. Everything looked good and was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. I’m really excited that I ordered this through DoorDash and it’s still hot and the food wasn’t messy. Lost a star for flavor and one of my sides was missing. Wish it could be half stars, I’d give a 4.5.

The woman on the cash register charged us for 4 people, when obvious it was only 3 of us. She did not want us to get any dessert even when we were told by a man who said he was the manager that we could get our dessert later.This place is not a buffet, they serve you and charge you for every item you get. The food was cold and tasteless. If you want good, hot food do not go here.

So many choices! Delicious comfort food! The fish was cooked perfect! Reasonable prices. The cost is an entree and two sides. Cafeteria style, walked down display case and were handed the food to put on our tray. The tray is heavy but staff is willing to help carry to your table!

Depending on when you go some of the food is fresh, while some is a bit dry. The desserts are always AMAZING and fresh! I love the red velvet cheesecake, pies, and banana pudding.
