Amazing! Cannot say enough about this place! The staff is amazing while giving you their individual attention. Great atmosphere. The description is true of a casual upscale establishment, but not a sports bar! Bill was a wonderful host, and made our evening wonderful. The spiney Florida lobster is amazing. Steak, pork chops and other seafood cooked perfect! If you’re in islamorada, FL you Have to stop in. It’s a little pricey, but soooo worth it!

Celebrated our anniversary & I don’t think we could have picked a better place. Everything was so delicious; we got the escargot to start, I got the filet oscar’d, he got the ribeye, & we got truffle mac & cheese to share. We also shared the creme brulee, only thing I could say was the sugar crust on top was a bit thick for my liking. Service was lovely, they packed everything we did not finish to go for us & we enjoyed it later in the week.

This was my second time at Ziggy & Mad Dog’s and I gotta say I’m 100% hooked. The place is first class from the service to the amazing food its clearly managed and operated over and above the rest of the crowd, its easy to see its a place were people love to cook there hearts out, and put that extra love into the service and the patrons come to just indulge on some of the best food and friendly atmosphere in town. From the first moments your sat down its on!! Fresh bread and butter (absolutely delicious), cold imported bottled water served like wine all the way to the amazing desserts and everything in between. People you owe yourself a nice evening at this restaurant, its that good!!

Ziggie Mad Dog on Isla Morada is a perfect 10/10. I had been wanting to visit for a long time, and the truth is that it has become my favorite restaurant. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the attention is incredible. The food is delicious—each dish is more flavorful than the last, and everything is perfectly cooked and tender. You have to try it, and you will say, “Wow, this is amazing!” They definitely deserve 5 Golden Buoy awards!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality, an inviting ambiance, and the comforting scent of a grill done right. Our server Bill was attentive without being overbearing, and his knowledge of the menu really helped elevate the entire experience. The 16oz New York Strip was perfection along with its delicious sides of Au-Gratin Potatoes, Asparagus, and Pork Belly Skewers! Absolutely huge portion sizes thats worth the greatly reasonable price point. Parking lot gets packed really fast, but I see why 🙂

We had a fantastic dinner here last night. I had the steak medallions which were excellent, and my husband had the grouper which was also fantastic. We enjoyed the escargot as our appetizer and we had the au gratin potatoes as our side. Our server was Leslie and she was excellent. Very attentive and right on top of everything.

This restaurant blew me away! We tried the filet, Mac and Cheese and the fries – everything was perfection! I loved the outdoor seating but we opted for indoors for the AC . We were completely full, but had the key lime pie anyway and it was the best I’ve had, it had a cookie type crust and was so velvety and smooth.

Truffle mac & cheese has no truffle flavor at all. Either missing or they’re using cheap truffle oil.
Scallops were the smallest and most overpriced I’ve ever seen. Server raved about them being the best. Was a complete rip-off. Plate did not even look good.
They charge double the price for a double pour. Fair warning. This is not standard practice. You’re only doubling one ingredient, not the whole drink.
Steaks are good.
The Tuna entree, seared tuna, uses frozen tuna not fresh. Easily identified by the color. Really sad for being in the Keys.
Overall, there are far better restaurants and options around. I think this is overpriced, doesn’t even deliver on food taste or portions.
