Spent a lovely dinner evening at ATX Cocina for my partners birthday. I loved how the whole menu was gluten free. The starters were absolutely delicious. We had the tostadas de atún, which was a bit spicy but packed with flavor. The machete with chicken tinga was so juicy and that lemon aioli sauce was a perfect balance for all the cheese and flavors. My partner really loved his main which was crab relleno. I had the carne asada which was a bit too cooked for me but honestly I was satisfied with all the small bites and delicious drinks that I didn’t care to send it back (also not a fan of that). The server sent out a birthday dessert with candle which I thought was so sweet. We order tres leche as well but sadly was disappointed with the flavors.
The staff, the service, was absolutely incredible. You can really tell everyone is working as a team.
Will be returning next time I’m in Austin ⭐️

I had a fantastic time here on a Friday night! After hearing so many great things from friends, I’m glad I finally visited.
The carne asada was phenomenal, especially paired with the freshly handmade corn tortillas. I also tried a mocktail that was excellent. It can be hard to find a high-quality non-alcoholic drink, but they nailed it.
The service was top-notch, and the ambiance made for a perfect evening. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Visited ATX Cocina in downtown Austin with my family and had an amazing experience. This place serves modern Mexican cuisine, and everything we tried was excellent.

We ordered sopes, machete, papas, duck, and steak, and every dish was flavorful, well-presented, and cooked perfectly. For drinks, we tried the Lychee Nini, which was refreshing and delicious. Both the food and drinks were outstanding.

The service was great, and the vibe of the place is lively yet elegant, making it perfect for a family dinner or a special occasion. I’d highly recommend making a reservation, as the place gets quite busy.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Definitely one of the must-visit modern Mexican spots in Austin. ✨

Exquisite presentation with explosion of flavors with a conscience of dietary needs. Lived the atmosphere on a Friday evening. Server was perfect. Definitely set reservations a few days ahead of time as it gets busy quickly- rightfully so!

What is not to like about this place! Meals are gourmet gluten free! Service is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is delightfully chic. Large selection of tequila and other licquors and wine. A must visit to experience an elevated level of mexican food.

The short rib with the sauce on the side & tortillas on the side was amazing!
I loved the guac, but just so much food.
The salsa was also good.
I’d choose the salsa I think over the guac.
The crab croquettes were Very Good! But messy & not good to eat on a date haha, but delicious.
& the esquite was the best I’ve had, but I didn’t want to eat more due to the bitter, but so good!

We stopped by for dinner ahead of a concert at the Austin City Limits Moody Theatre. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. Andres was our server and took great care of us from recommending two different starter dishes and given us options on the meals to selecting an excellent dessert for my wife’s birthday dinner. He also asked for the correct spelling of her first name and brought her a card from the staff with many individual notes wishing her happy birthday. That’s a first for me at a restaurant. I would definitely go there again.

Hamachi and sopes were excellent starters. The Bronzino was the whole fish filleted cooked to perfection with a wonderful brussels sprouts side.

Wonderful! Erica was the best server. The food is incredible. I had the fish tacos and a vegetarian tamale. Handcrafted Margarita was so fresh scratch made. You cannot compare this restaurant to any other Mexican Restaurant in Austin.

Had a birthday dinner here with the girls and had the best time! The portions and food were good for everyone to share and it didn’t come out to be too much. They also kept doing little birthday things like giving me treats and they even gave me a personalized birthday card that the entire restaurant crew signed!
