This place was a true gem!! We had the halibut and the jidori chicken schnitzel and both were delicious! The wild caught halibut was one of the best I have had… The vegetables were SO fresh and crisp and colorful.. honestly I cannot recall having a better meal than I experienced here in a LONG time. The food made me FEEL healthy and good and the outside dining patio was beautiful and cozy with the fire heaters. And the topper was our waitress .. she was absolutely amazing and for some reason I never got her name… Bottom line, do not hesitate to go eat here. It is true perfection!

I wish I could give a review on just the burger, which was perfection, but it was the way that we were greeted at the door, seated at our table, the way that our waitress introduced herself, and was so patient with all of us at the table, the warmth of the manager, and the way the entire staff worked together as a team, because that kind of warmth makes the food taste even better. We came to Sapphire for happy hour, and really everything was delicious, but that burger was made to perfection, the cheese melted perfectly, and the waitress came by to make sure that it was just exactly as I wished it to be. So if you’re looking for one of the best burgers, if not possibly THE best juicy thick cheesy burger in all of Laguna Beach, look no further than Sapphire! Went here to celebrate our engagement and they were awesome. The team treated us so well and even the owner visited our table to personally greet us and congratulate us. The food was fantastic, from the appetizer to the entree. They gave us complimentary champagne, appetizer and desert to enjoy our lovely night here. The view is so nice here as well! Where to begin! From Greg and Sal who provide the friendliest warm welcome on arrival, to all the members of the staff, I’ve never felt so at home at a restuarant. The atmosphere (especially at sunset) is incredible and the food and cocktails are out of this world. Since moving to the SoCal area in 2024, this has quickly risen to a favorite (almost weekly) spot and they keep leveling up with the monthly specials. Thank you for bringing such a chill vibe with some of the best food and drinks in the region. We have brought so many guests since moving here and they are never disappointed! See you all soon.

We went to Saffire Restaurant for brunch on Saturday and tried the wagyu burgers, chicken schnitzel, and smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The wagyu burger came with fries that were a bit soggy at first, but the staff replaced them quickly with fresh ones, which was nice. The chicken schnitzel and smoked salmon were both delicious, and the food came out pretty quickly.
Overall, the meal was enjoyable, though the service could have been a little more attentive.

Everything was fantastic! Service was fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The schnitzel was absolutely perfect — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife had the salmon Benedict and was genuinely impressed — generous portion and cooked just right. I went for an almond milk latte, which was another highlight. And make sure to save room for dessert — the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet ending!

Celebrated my friend’s birthday here with a party of 12. We made a reservation in advance so getting set up and seated was seamless. It was a beautiful day in Laguna Beach which made for a perfect day for dining out on the patio.
It was Sunday brunch but I opted to steer towards the “unch” side and got their BLT w/ fries. It was a massive portion and I managed to only tuck into half of it. It was very good w/ generous slices of bacon.
Our server was super nice and accommodating to guests in our group that arrived later and made sure everyone had drinks, food order taken, etc. Our table also got complimentary elderberry tequila (I think?) shots which was so nice of them.
Overall, I would definitely return to Sapphire for the great food and service.

Really nice restaurant. Was very busy, but service was still great. Nice location and everybody was really nice. Both cocktail as well as the non-alcoholic ones tasted really good and not like simple juices added together. Well done. We both had salads which were extremely well filled and very tasteful.
Would love to come again, but it was only our road trip, so unfortunately not very likely. Really like the place!
