I drove 7 hours from Nebraska because I was craving some Haitian food and I’m glad I did this trip. Food was so good and full that I brought leftovers for next day! The owners are nice people and they even made me try other food that I didn’t even ask for just to help me fill my cravings! I highly recommend anyone to try our food. They are representing our culture and food well in Denver!

Got the Taso Kabrit plate (fried goat) that came with salad, fried plantain, Akra, Pikliz (spicy Haitian slaw) diri djondjon (Haitian black mushroom flavored rice) and the most tender fried pieces of goat meat you will ever have. The portion size of the plate was perfect for the price. This was the best Haitian food I’ve had since moving here from Boston, nothing else compares and I’ve been searching for good Haitian food in Colorado for 4 years!

Do yourself a favor and don’t walk, run! ‍♂️ to 509 Cuisine for some authentic Haitian food with plenty of flavor and good customer service.

Came back here for some food for a small gathering at home, there were some items on the menu that weren’t typically available on Fridays but Joanne (the owner) was more than willing to accommodate us. She took our last minute order and the food did not disappoint! (It never does). I even managed to take pictures this time before it was all gone. Thank you Joanne for your great customer service!!!

I tried this Haitian spot and got the tilapia with mac and cheese and it was amazing. The fish was seasoned so good and cooked perfectly, and the mac and cheese was straight comfort food, creamy and flavorful. The vibes were great too, just warm and welcoming. I love finding gems in the city I never even knew existed. It felt like beautiful comfort food made with care. Definitely a place I’ll be going back to!!!!!

Sister, knows what she is doing!!! It’s the best Haitian food I have ever had….. to include my Grandma and Titi!! Service is a little slow (have patience, it’s a new restaurant), so order ahead of time, if able. Even if you can’t order ahead, it’s worth the wait. I’m so sad this gem just opened up as I’m preparing to move out the state. I wish this young lady all the success.
