Elegant authentic Italian food. Everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommended as a date night venue. Cozy eating area…just like it should be. The serving staff focused on creating a pleasurable dinning experience. They have opened up the other side now…so more room and a bar. Reservations recommended.

Unforgettable experience! Everyone was very personable and made us feel very welcoming. Prices are affordable specially for how delicious and fresh their food is. I loved my shrimps (specially the sauce), cannoli and how not to mention their bread. I can’t wait to go there next time I’m around.

We just googled Italian restaurants in Destin and Fat Clemenza’s popped up — and wow, are we glad we went! We were here celebrating our daughter’s birthday trip, and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special, even singing for her and treating us like family.

The food was absolutely amazing, with generous portions and such authentic flavors. As vegetarians, we’ve found fewer options around Destin, but here we were so impressed with the variety and taste. We ordered the gnocchi, bruschetta, burrata, vodka rigatoni, and finished with lava cake and cheesecake for dessert — every bite was perfect.

If you’re in Destin and looking for an incredible dining experience with warm hospitality, Fat Clemenza’s is a must. They truly made our night unforgettable.

My boyfriend and I tried Fat Clemenza’s and absolutely loved it. They were incredibly accommodating of my dairy allergy, and Cody was amazing. He walked me through exactly what I could safely have. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and I highly recommend checking this place out!

First time here and it was a pleasant experience.

The complimentary bread with olive oil dip came out warm and fresh.

For an appetizer, we had the Calzone Classico. Huge, stuffed with cheese and meats, and a golden crust. It’s definitely a share-with-the-table kind of dish. Huge!

I had the soup of the day, a creamy clam chowder. It was flavorful.

We also had Shrimp Romana, savory and garlicky with a side of golden fries.

I loved the Italian décor vibe. Fun lighting, cozy, and straight out of The Sopranos. It really felt like you were tucked away in a little Italian family’s dining room in Jersey, but with Destin sunshine outside.

Overall, portions are generous and flavors are bold. Service was attentive without being rushed, making it a solid Destin spot for hearty Italian comfort food.

This is where it all started for Italian restaurants in the area! Some of my favorite local Italian restaurants got their start working here in the kitchen, and it shows —great service, super friendly staff, and plates that come out looking amazing and full! I had the Quattro Stagioni (4 Seasons) pizza, and it was absolutely loaded right to the crust. Since I live across the street in Miramar Beach, I’ll definitely be riding my bike over here often. A must-visit spot for authentic Italian pizza in the area!

I’ve never had a Margherita pizza I didn’t like until today. We ordered a large with light cheese and extra sauce but got almost no sauce and thick cheese that did not even appear to be mozzarella. The main reason I like Margherita pizza is for the mozzarella cheese. Plus there were no crushed tomatoes. We also paid for garlic on the whole pizza and could not find any on it. The crust had a good flavor but was tough. The rigatoni ala vodka had very very little vodka sauce and some weird tasting cheese on it. The only reason I gave two stars was because the tiny piece of tiramisu we got was actually pretty good. This was a DoorDash order so I cannot comment on the restaurant itself. This was my first and last time eating food from Fat Clemenza’s

We had a reservation for 6:30p.m. and were not seated for 20 minutes after arriving at the restaurant. There were several other groups who also apparently had reservations for the same time, causing the very small waiting area to become completely full. There were multiple empty tables that had just not been cleaned off, and they stayed that way the whole time we all were waiting. Someone who I assumed was the owner came out and said everyone needed to wait outside to free up the space inside for waiters to walk past (it was 40°F out). I had already spoken to 2 other waiters at this point about having a reservation, and luckily one of them brought us to a table before we were made to stand outside with our 4 year old daughter. We were sat at a table barely 4 feet from the door, and were hit with the cold breeze anytime someone was coming or going. It took another 10 minutes after sitting down before we were even brought menus, and we were about to leave and find a different restaurant if the waiter didn’t show up when he did. Once we did get menus, the waiter was very impatient and seemed like he was rushing us to order, but then he never came to back to the table again aside from hastily dropping our food off when it was ready. The food itself was pretty good, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the price we paid, $114 for a caprese salad appetizer, kids spaghetti, fettuccine bolognese, a calzone, and 1 glass of their cheapest wine. My Fiancée and I agreed we’d eaten better for cheaper at Carrabbas down the road. Overall, the restaurant was cramped, overpriced, and severely lacking in customer service skills. Definitely would not choose to eat here again, especially with many other options for Italian food so close by.

We were recommended this place from a family staying at our same condo complex. It was top notch. Cody did a fantastic job, food came out quickly and was delicious. We will definitely visit again if back in the area.
