Ordered DoorDash delivery tonight, Ceviche was put in a regular open container, and all the lemon juice spilled out into the bag on top of a very skimpy portion for $27.00. The Lomo Saltado is a $26.00 plate, and the portion was very skimpy, and the steak was hard. The fries were old and saggy. The only good thing was the konakai rice. I have been eating at Konakai since they opened their doors and this was the worst food I got from them. $178.00 on food

Went here Sunday night. Shortly before closing. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. Even got to meet the manager. The server HIGHLY recommended the Passion Roll (Sushi), the was beyond delicious and a big roll. For dinner we had the Pago A Lo Macho (Snapper Fish with Seafood Sauce) and Churasco A Lo Macho (Steak with Seafood Sauce). The food was EXCELLENT. I SHALL RETURN. Oh yea, THE BEST FRIED YUCA I’VE EVER HAD.

I was there for el dia de la cancion criolla celebration of the. The deal was attractive. They changed $12 for the cover, a Dios the minimum of $25 per customer consumed. At the arrival with previous reservation I was approached by the person in charge, I believe was the manager, she seemed to be very stressed, and I was the lucky one that she relieved her stress with. She was very rude and out of manners. Since I had dinner before going, wasn’t hungry enough to ha a full meal, I decided to have an appetizer + a glass of sangría, for &17, and a asparagus stuffed chicken roll for $19. I noticed that the food was over frozen, since I couldn’t taste the asparagus flavor, and was also too salty. I asked the waitress if she could do something about, and she sent the so called “manager” then again she treated me with the same awful attitude, without offering me any option but to bring a take out box. I was with company, and unable to place a complain not to ruin my friend’s night out. When I ask for the bill, they were pronted to take my money , but took a long while to have my change back, even though they have already charge an 18% for service. I had to ask the waitress for my change and receit. I was a very disappointed , and off course won’t be back there ever

Food is good, it’s pricey and for the price of the food I expect better service than was received. I had to ask to get my complimentary cancha which wasn’t even fresh and mixed with plantain chips and it wasn’t even fresh. If the servers had a better attitude and gave better service and paid more attention this place would hands down be 4.5/5 stars.

So I ordered Causa and as a Peruvian dish I never had it the way it was prepared.
It was a layer of mashed yellow potato, avocado yellow potato again and they just set the tuna salad and chicken salad on the top with some type of crunchy topping.
Every time I have had Causa it was actually layers of the yellow potatoes the chicken salad the potatoes the chicken salad the potatoes have more of a lime taste to them and it was topped with egg and olives. This must was a new take on Causa but I’ll pass then what I paid was almost $30 for them to give it to me in a burger box cut into squares. Authentic Peruvian flavor and look just wasn’t there.

I was skeptical to come here due to all the bad reviews about customer service but we were in the mood to try some Peruvian food. We went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. I did happen to see a sign posted that they will be taking over the space next door and expanding. This will be great for their business. Keep in mind that they don’t really exercise social distancing nor does everyone wear masks. It rubbed us a little funny, especially during this pandemic, but it is what it is. The food was tasty, and the portions were generous. Surprisingly, the best part of my whole experience here was the customer service. We were blessed with Paola who was a saint. He was very attentive to our needs, gave us great food recommendations, and was quick and courteous. We will most likely be returning to try more of their yummy, fusion flavors.

I used to eat here all the time about a year ago before i moved away & i recently just moved back and the quality of the food has deteriorated. Not sure if they switched chefs, or the ingredients itself, but the food just isn’t good anymore. The steak is tough to where i can’t even cut into it and you can just tell the quality of the meat/chicken is cheap. I gave it a few more tries but every time it just gets worse, the only thing that saves the dish is some of their sauces. The customer service is also very average, the ladies in the front are very off putting and just not friendly.
It’s such a shame because this restaurant has so much potential, i used to recommend it to all my family and friends. Won’t be coming back again for now, maybe i’ll try again in the future.
