Our goal for Dixie’s Home Cookin’ is simple and threefold. We will strive to provide outstanding service to our guests, we will serve excellent food like grandma and grandpa used to make, and we will serve it in an environment that is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We will invite every guest into our home and our only hope is that each and every one of them feels welcome upon arrival, and leaves feeling both happy and satisfied.

Exactly what you crave in an American Diner and more! Everything was perfectly done and they had lots of options. It’s obvious they take pride in their food and making sure customers have a pleasant experience. Would definitely eat here again!

Got there just before the rush, 9am. Got the stuffed French toast, eggs, bacon, and my typical coffee and soda. Eggs and bacon where good but the stuffed French toast lacked stuffing. Minimal strawberries and fluff in the middle. Needed to have fresh strawberries and fluff pouring out feeling.. Atmosphere was ok, nothing stood out. Service was minimal from my server. I got more attention from the bussing crew than my server. Price was decent for what I ordered.

A small almost a hole in the wall restaurant off main st in Sumner. Why is it that restaurants like this always serve the best food. I had the moms special. The eggs were perfect, hashbrowns and bacon crunchy crispy as I ordered. The biscuit and gravy was off the charts delicious. Prices were standard and competitive, and my order came out surprisingly fast, hot and delicious. Great job. Thank you .

Had the corned beef hash, the lunch Monte Cristo Sandwhich, and the French dip Sandwhich. With waffle fries and zucchini spears. All were excellent in taste, and the service was friendly and prompt. We did not have to wait in line. Luckily, I often see one here. The French Dip was really tasty but could have had more meat on it. I will definitely be back. If your in the area it is a must try.

You good old fashion American home diner. People are friendly and super busy on Sat for breakfast, but still quick turns and staff keep up. Good portions for the price. Kid friendly, parking is shared, but more in the back.

Very good food, huge portions, excellent service. The prices seem high until the food shows up. 1/2-1″ thick French toast, real bacon, homemade biscuits. Definitely recommend the hangover bowl (see photo).

The servers, the food and the atmosphere is all authentic, kind, warm and loving. I read a few reviews that mentioned the servers don’t smile, etc. You don’t know what someone is going through so be nice. I found them all to be kind. I enjoyed my meal and felt like I was at someone’s grandmas house. Thank you for a great breakfast and experience.

Breakfast date today with my beautiful fiance. The place was super busy. We were seated very promptly from a happy and positive staff.
The atmosphere was perfect . The staff was so kind and welcoming.
Some of the best and timely service I’ve had in a long time.
Orange juice served in a frozen mug was a nice touch.
Portions of food were generous, and the quality of the food was top tier.
