I haven’t been back to this place in over two years. I come back to give it another try. Everything was burnt and tasted terrible. I showed it to the waiter and he just shrugged his shoulders. Then when I went to pay, I showed the owner the pictures of my burnt food. He said “yeah, it does look burnt” but he still charged me the full price of the order. I will never return again. My friend, who was with me ordered a margarita, it was very weak, nothing but mix. In addition, the condiments on the table were outdated by over a year.

Brought a big group here during a basketball tournament. They weren’t fast but they got everything right. The one server never complained when we walked in unannounced. His positive attitude made the experience so good!

The shrimp tacos were 8/10. Very tasty! Loved the homemade chicken nuggets for the kiddos. And the enchiladas were pretty good. Overall 7/10 for everything. The raspberry margarita was fire tho. Overall meal was a bit pricey

Have gone here a long time, but the quality has drifted. When you order specific food and the place is empty, they should provide what is listed on the menu. Hard shell tacos aren’t that hard to get right. The chimichanga quatas is supposed to be shredded beef but to be cheaper they give ground. Won’t go here. Botanas Locas or La Pasadita are better options.

The atmosphere is OK , just could not get comfortable when they have space heaters blasting, and overwhelming smell of cleaners kind of ruins the vibe in my opinion…
The food was just OK. I had the cilantro chicken my date had a burrito.
The one highlight, I will say is Javier our server was kind and courteous, and did an
excellent job .
Will I be back? Probably not there’s way better options in Warsaw.. as far as quality goes I would suggest Taqueria El Comal on Winona . And then 26th St., Grill on Detroit Street.,as well as Tacos Jalisco food truck…

I have not been to La Troje since before the pandemic and I have to say I am so happy to have reacquainted myself with this wonderful Mexican restaurant. We went with a party of six and ordered a variety of entrees. Everyone raved about the quality of the food. It was an outstanding experience.
