The food was delicious as well as beautifully presented. I had the green papaya salad, which could have used a little more tang, like a smidge more lime juice, and a little less beef (as the beef almost overpowered what is a otherwise a fine, delicate salad.) The Claypot cod hit the spot and the rice was cooked perfectly for absorbing the former’s caramelized sauce. The coconut fine tapioca ball pudding, served with coconut and mango sorbet, was a nice end to this splendid lunch.
The restaurant was well appointed with beautiful orchids dotting it and good ambient music. Well-heeled clientele were from all over the world, seeming to have booked this either for special occasions or for a business lunches that were meant to impress. A large party raised the decibel level as the dining room filled during this Friday lunch service.
The staff was attentive, yet unobtrusive.
Street parking was easy and there are several parking garages nearby.

Extremely sweet dishes. Definitely not a proper Vietnamese cuisine.
The tables are too close to each other so the girl sit next to us was very loud and we were distracted by her scratching voice all the time. Couldn’t even focus on to our own conversation. We also ordered wine and the server didn’t even offer a taste, came straight with the glass.
Dishes were served too slow as well. Not recommending.

As soon as you step in, it feels like a different world encompassed in a contemporary sophisticated Asian decor with a rotating Art Gallery. We sat next to each other to share the delightful presented cuisine while appreciating the ambiance and the Art. The Sunrise in Hanoi with Bubble and Smoke was Wow. She really liked the Delicate Savory Tender Petit Banh Khot : A Uniquely rendered version from the coastal city of Vung Tau. Superb unhurried and attentive service by the hostess made our experience so relaxing. Innovative Vietnamese Haute Cuisine at its best.

They had a very cute setup for the birthday we had.
The food was hit-or-miss. I don’t love fried foods and a couple of our orders were fried like the prawns and calamari appetizers so I just wouldn’t get those again. I also did not love the corn fritters. The entrees, like peach burrata salad and the tiger prawns + noodles, were excellent.
Kiwi mockjito was my favorite drink.

Tamarine is a nice restaurant for fine dining. I find the ambiance to be great, and their specialty drinks were top-notch. The lamb chops were exceptional. I enjoyed the family dining concept. The entire approach is luxury from the curtain you must pull back to enter to the exceptional service you receive during your visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a next level fine dining experience. The food arrived hot each time, and my cup was never empty. They had numerous excellent wines paired with each course. I never had to do anything more than look up to find an attentive person present to meet my needs. I look forward to returning to Tamarine in the very near future.

Tamarine: authentic Vietnamese cuisine at its best. An outstanding culinary experience I shared with great friends. We tried a variety of dishes, all delicious. The tamarind shrimp stood out particularly. The dessert was an amazing surprise. The cocktails are excellent and the service impeccable. A place that showcases its expertise in every detail. Without a doubt, I’ll be back soon. Worth every visit!
