I came in for an early lunch to this McDonald’s in McKenzie, Tennessee. It was relatively spacious, lots of seating. The service from the cashier I dealt with was funny to listen to and was so sweet. The menu screens above the register were half broken (1/2 worked). I got some chicken nuggets and soda that tasted great and was hot (the nuggets). It needed some cleaning of tables and such but was otherwise fine. There are no drink machines or ketchup, napkin, utensile recepticles. All of this has to be done up at the front by the staff.

I ordered my food ahead to “skip the line” like they advertise, but stood in line 10 minutes after I arrived and watched as everyone, including the people who ordered after I did, get their food and leave. Not to mention the fact that our chicken nugget kids meal DID NOT HAVE it’s nuggets AND we’re missing 1 burger out of our order. I am extraordinary dissatisfied with the speed and care of the service provided by this McDonald’s and will likely not be back.

We saw an employee use the restroom and walk out without washing their hands. Employees were complaining about us because they just mopped the floor and it was dirty after we walked in.

This location needs to clean their grease more often. I was here the night before my frys where solid brown. Now this morning the hash brown is clearly cooked in old grease and taste horrible.

The food was good but me and my friend ordered on kiosk and wanted to pay at the counter. So me and my friend waited for a bit we saw in the kitchen and an employee looked us both dead in the eye continued to do nothing about it there was another employee in front of him playing a game on his phone. It took my friend looking over the counter and saying “hey!” Before one of those employees asked another guy to come and take the order.

*Edit 9/3/25: this location has a display up for auction. They expect you to put your name and phone number on a posted sheet. This is ignorance on the managers part. See pic* I dont understand why they can’t be honest when the coffee is old! I ask at the drive thru, if the coffee is fresh, they say yes. When I get it, it tastes burnt. I guess they now have fast aging coffee. 11/27/23 service has improved since covid pandemic. I like the interior changes that focus on app and kiosk orders, however, only one kiosk available on today’s visit, and no ink for the receipt s. Lowering my rating as of today. McDonald’s prioritizes delivery app orders over any in-house orders. They acknowledged by saying “sorry, it may be a while, we are filling doordash orders” this is after we placed our order.

We were there for an hour with a business associate drinking cappuccinos & then ordered food on the app to bring home. The fish sandwich was not only assembled askew, it had obviously been sitting under the warmer since lunch. It was 4:30. The fish was dry & rubbery & hard to eat but since I had nothing else I choked it down. The fries were all cold, upside down & in the bottom of the bag. The cheeseburgers were dried out & falling apart.
Nobody was in the front of the store the entire time we were there yet I could see a group standing in the kitchen seemingly scrolling on their phones & talking. I don’t expect to spend any more money at this store. We’ll drive to Dresden where they have their act together.
Very disappointed.

Early morning for breakfast 07:00 am. Pull up and all the workers standing outside by the customer entrance smoking. You just opened why does everyone need a smoke break?

Me and 2 friends got food here. 2 out of 3 of us got food poisoning, I wanna say it was because of undone chicken. We both ate the chicken sandwich they offer, while one ate the quarter pounder which was also still red. Looking online at other situations it seems this location is known for serving undone food.

Never can get all my sauces. No game pieces on stuff that I specifically order for game pieces and they don’t even inform you just hope you aren’t paying attention to what your supposed to be getting. Like how hard is it to read a screen or receipts taped to the dang bag that tells you what sauces the people order. All I wanted was some spicy BBQ and they can’t seem to ever give me my picante sause packs
