The food was delicious and, most importantly, served hot and fresh, just the way it should be. The salads were the perfect contrast—cold, crisp, and refreshing, clearly made with fresh ingredients and real care.
Our waitress truly elevated the entire experience. She was completely on it—attentive without hovering, incredibly personable, and just an all-around wonderful human being. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal, and that makes all the difference.
This is the kind of place that gets everything right: quality food, proper temperatures, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will absolutely be coming back and expect this to become a regular spot for us.
Highly recommend. ️✨
Food prices felt fairly average for today’s restaurant standards, but unfortunately the quality didn’t quite match the pricing on this visit. My husband and I shared a side Caesar salad, a Margherita flatbread, and an order of sweet and spicy fish and chips, and overall the dishes were just okay.
That said, we do plan to return and I’m hopeful that trying a different dish next time will leave a stronger impression.
Don’t skip the onion rings they’re a must. Add in rotating seasonal specials and some standout seasonal mixology, and Sage & Barrel becomes a place you’ll want to return to often.
Definitely plenty of food on the plate- I probably should’ve read the description better for my Gouda burger. No lettuce, no mayo, no ketchup, no tomato just a splat of bacon jam on a dry bun. Asked for a little side of mayo and ranch, since when do you pay a dollar for a tiny cup of mayonnaise for a burger & a portion of ranch, $1.50 on a 19.00 burger.
Give us crispy fries all day, not fat, limp, soggy fries, please.
Hot honey, fish and chips. Breading was very soggy. My husband liked the flavor, however, one bite was Like biting into squishy, wet breading.
Cold beer delish.
Will we go back and try again? Way too many other places to try. Unfortunately, it did not win us over.
Thank you for the great service to our bar server!
