I wouldn’t normally write a review but the quality of food and drink here is atrocious. I ordered a Woodford reserve (neat), and it tasted like water with a splash of Woodford. They very clearly are watering down their bottles. The kids Mac and cheese is just Kraft box mac thrown on a plate. Our server was very nice and welcoming (the only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 star).

It was not the servers fault. No one’s dinner came out at the same time. I was the last to get my plate. The food was good. The waiter did not understand what was happening in the kitchen. People around us had waited a very long time for their food. Someone else was trying the complain to the manager, who seemed to be avoiding them. The waiter said he went back to the kitchen to check on food, but the the whole kitchen staff was having a pow-wow. Entrees were on plates with no sides, the salad bar had 5 empty items, not low, empty. When I suggested that the waiter tell the kitchen what’s up, he said he had to choose his battles. This place really needs a team work retreat. But seriously, get your act together. I do not like to complain. I felt bad for the waiter.

The catering/delivery coordinator is outstanding! I’ve been able to work with her on many occasions and she has delivered top notch service 100% of the time. She is a credit to the organization and should be recognized as a valued employee! I continue to use the restaurant because of her commitment to excellence and pride she displays in her job… it’s a rare trait.

We waited for a while to be served. We sat at the table. Once we ordered the food took forever to come. Once I got my ruby’s cheeseburger and fries it was hard as a rock. The bread was not only toasted it was hard all the way through. The lettuce was black. That’s the first thing I noticed. I didn’t eat anything from my plate. The salad bar had brown lettuce. Wasted my time sitting waiting for a meal I couldn’t eat.

We went to Ruby Tuesday for a late lunch to celebrate my spouses birthday. We haven’t been in years. We had a lovely Waitress ,Kelly, she was super!
However, same couldn’t be said of the salad bar. It used to be grand but this trip was disappointing. There were four bins of iceberg lettuce and every one had a lot of brown browning lettuce. I had to pick through all four to find enough that wasn’t brown to put on my plate. Main reason I wanted to come was for the salad bar. Very disappointed! Also had no Romain lettuce, eggs, sliced/chopped tomatoes either. Bell peppers were to big and had to cut them in order to eat them.
My 82 year mom wanted mashed potatoes with gravy but we’re told Ruby Tuesday does not have gravy of any kind. Another disappoinment. She went with salmon, Cole slaw and Mac n cheese. She said everything was very good but salmon was a bit in small side. Next time she’d order 2 salmon fillets.
However, my chicken tenders were really bland and I needed dipping sauce in order to eat some. French fries had zero salt and were lukewarm. I would not order this again.
According to my 82 year old mother the Talapia fish was good. Just needed salt. Cole slaw and Mac n cheese were good.
My spouse said his steak was good , but needed tenderized bit more , was difficult to chew and dry.
Broccoli was semi warm, but cooked just right and Baked potato was cooked right as well.
Took 35 minutes to receive our food and it appeared that Kelly was the only waitress. At least Kelly was the only one we saw during our 90 minute visit.
Everyone has a bad day. So we will return and give Ruby Tuesday another shot sometime in the future.

I went in tonight, tired and exhausted but my experience tonight was Chefs kiss! I only got a salad but the service I received from Jessica by the bar, you would have thought I got a filet mignon! She took care of me and made sure my food was fresh and I had all I needed to complete my salad, all with a great attitude and smile. Great customer service.

I love the service and atmosphere and Jennifer was wonderful polite and patient and work so hard as she could to make it a outstanding place to be at and she does her best and she has very good customer service and she went above in beyond to assist with things i needed. Jennifer is great! Super sweet personality and just a joy to have at your service! She’s very respectful and nice and whatever was needed she didn’t hesitate to help. She is amazing and very professional and her management skills is the top notch also she did an outstanding job at meeting every customers need and she was attentive respectful knowledgeable and excellent customer service with a pleasant smile and she has a beautiful attitude and was very attentive and she was on top of everything and so personable. She was phenomenal and gracious, friendly, super helpful and make sure every customer is feels welcome and being attentive to customers and she has such a great and positive energy.
Everyone if you’re ever in Roanoke Rapids or even stopping of the 95 exit i extremely highly recommend Ruby Tuesday and the top restaurant in town and the services is fabulous and food is delicious and management skills is awesome

I wish I could give this 0 stars ..I met my daughter for lunch yesterday, on my lunch hour..I ordered the salad bar and unlimited soup. My daughter got the salad bar and salmon.Our waitress was Kelly , she was very pleasant . I asked her if I could get a different soup for every bowl , she said absolutely.The salad bar was not as I remembered it in the past , I think I took about 5 bites and couldn’t eat any more, nothing seemed fresh . Then the first bowl of potato soup comes and the bowl itself was hot but the soup was cold and horrible tasting .
I just knew she would be coming back at some point to either check on us , maybe refill our drinks, ask me what soup I wanted next but sadly we never saw Her again. Keep in mind until about 20 minutes into our meal we were in fact the only 2 people in the entire place .we waited and waited I ended up having to get up and look into the kitchen window to try to get her attention.by this point there was 3 Other people in the place. She did say she was sorry and that she was the only one working. No ‘unlimited soup’ ,no drink refill,

We dined here when traveling through town. The salad bar was very good and we had great service. The restaurant was a bit aged and dark. Over all we had a good meal here
