I was hoping they would of been better due to the reviews. Service was super slow and it wasn’t even busy. The fish wasn’t fresh, lots of fatty chewy pieces on the nigiri we ordered. The more you order, the fish gets smaller and thinner.

Based on reviews, I placed an order for takeout for 3 sushi rolls, and they had an offer for an appetizer to go along with each roll and we did not know that it was only for take out.
Great ambiance, service. Sushi rolls were awesome. The appetizers were ok.
We reached there and changed our minds to have food inside the restaurant, and the lady at reception was very accomodative.

I’ve never had bad sushi UNTIL NOW..!!!..for 40 years of enjoying various sushi restaurants,, It’s always been GREAT or BETTER THAN GREAT..!!..It could have been just the chef {although his presentation was beautiful} and not the whole place,,but I still wouldn’t give it a second chance..sorry

Absolutely amazing! 2ThaJoint Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots I’ve ever been to. The rolls are fresh, creative, and full of flavor you can really taste the quality in every bite. The vibe is chill but upbeat, and the staff makes you feel right at home. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends, this place always hits the spot. Highly recommend!

The food was really good. Great prices, great service. Had to learn a few things about how ordering works there, because they also offer all you cann eat sushi. Overall a great experience and we enjoyed the music as well. We’ll be back!

Had the All you can eat, calamari rings, Gyoza potstickers, Edamame, rolls, nigiri and fried banana for dessert. Everything was fresh and very yummy, server identified each roll delivered and the service was on point. Definitely recommend this place for sushi.

Came in with 3 people are were seated promptly which was nice. However, upon our server arriving to our table, he forgot multiple things and never checked back in. When we ordered off the AYCE menu it took an upsetting amount of time. When rolls and appetizers did arrive the hot appetizers were cold (mussels), and rolls were missing from what we ordered. Staff was not attentive to our table, did not bring ginger with sushi trays. Very poor experience, will not be coming back.

Tried to get in at a few other places on a Saturday night with hour long wait lists. This place sat us immediately. Fun rolls. Although most are super spicy. All you can eat was a reasonable prices. Rolls are reasonably sized. Staff are all awesome!

Absolutely phenomenal The salmon steak was the most well-cooked and deserves an award. My Sushi was so amazing that now I’m addicted. The Tobiko was put from the top of the hand roll all the way to the bottom, give me a break it’s the best! My son absolutely loved the salmon!! There’s no way you would be disappointed here!

Coming from the East Coast where sushi is very very fresh and readily available, this place is great and comparable to what we enjoy most.
This location had a great selection which included a lot of spicy options as well. We were seated immediately when we came in even though the restaurant was very busy. Drinks came out quick, our server knew the menu very well and was able to help make some recommendations on some of the newer-to-us options they had.
The restaurant was very clean and staff were all friendly. If we visit Reno again, we will definitely have to hit this place up again. Thank you for a great experience.
