Here at Kinya we are the home of the Golden Ramen! We pride ourselves on the meaning of our name, GOLD! Gold is fine, pure, and unmatched to any other metal. That is the experience we are giving the customers every-time they eat here at Kinya. We love our authentic Japanese foods and flavors with fun twists.

When we entered the restaurant, we were surprised to see it packed.
But the wait wasn’t bad though, because the staff were efficient and always moving.
The vibe and staff were great. We ordered the combo ramen with appetizers—KINYA Ramen, Beef Ramen, gyoza, and tempura sweet potato and asparagus. We liked the appetizers, but the ramen surprised us. It was a bit bland for our liking. It looked great, but I wish it had more flavor.
Overall, it was still a good experience, and the food came out quickly with almost no waiting.

I went to Kinya on a Saturday evening to meet some friends. Upon arrival, we got a table without any waiting, since the restaurant was huge with lots of tables and booths. I was so impressed with the interior, with amazing integration of Chinese arts and designs to decorate the dining space. They had a massive bar as well.
The menu had of course a bunch of different ramen, as well as sushi, appetizers, sushi, bowls, cocktails, bubble and fruits teas. I got to try the chick soup dumplings, edamame, takoyaki, and the dragon roll. All of the items were really good. Dumplings had good quality of soup. Takoyaki was soft and fluffy with large pieces of squid. The dragon roll had all fresh ingredients. I also got to mango lemonade tea that was refreshing. My friends also enjoyed their pork bao buns and the ramens.
Our server was really nice. The food came out within short intervals. We hung out for about two hours and had a wonderful time here.

After going to the Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights, we needed a spot nearby for dinner. My friend found Kinya Ramen, which is located in a large shopping complex. It was prime dinnertime – 7 PM on a Saturday night with a group of 7 adults + 2 toddlers, so we thought for sure we’d have to wait a while. Miraculously, we were actually seated immediately. They were definitely short-staffed that day because it took a while to flag someone down anytime we needed something. No one really ever checked in on us either, during the meal. Most of the table went with the ramen combo, which was a really great deal. For $23, you can pick any ramen + any full-sized appetizer. I went with the Kinya Ramen (pork broth with black garlic oil, topped with bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, seasoned boiled egg, scallions, narutomaki fish cake, nori, edible gold – with a choice of chicken or chashu). This was really good. The noodles had the perfect texture, and the broth was flavorful. The chashu was tender and not dry like it can sometimes be. For the app, I had the gyoza, which was standard. Hubby had the shrimp tempura as the app, which might have been the worst shrimp tempura I’ve ever had. It’s definitely pre-made/frozen. There was so much batter on it, and it was oily – so that’s all you could taste.
When we left at around 8ish, there were a lot of people crowding around, waiting for tables so I guess that’s really their primetime. I probably wouldn’t come back, just because it’s a bit far from where I live. But if you live in the area, it’s a good option – especially for the ramen combo.

Excellent Ramen. Great service. Great little spot. The kimchi they bring you is divine, spicey, and delicious. The Spicey Ramen I had was amazing, even down to delicious bean sprouts. The spring rolls were on point. By far the best shrimp tempora I’ve had. Simple, light, crisp and delicious. Oh and the house sake was fantastic. If you’re in the area, check this place out. It will not disappoint!

Solid spot for some decent ramen. We just got back from Japan and I was craving some ramen. Fully not expecting anything in NJ to be on the same level as anything in Japan but this was definitely serviceable. We’d come back.
I got the Beef Ramen and gyoza; my GF got the Gyudon and Takoyaki. Across the board all were solid 7/10. Ramen broth wasn’t too oily, gyoza were flavorful, Gyudon was quite good, and the Takoyaki was just below the quality of what we had in Osaka.

Loved everything about this place! Food was fresh and quick. Kimchi given to the table was a nice touch. We ordered pork buns, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura ramen, and two to-go orders.

Came here with my family to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the unassuming storefront fool you, inside the decor is charming, our group enjoyed checking out all the posters adorning the walls. The food we ordered came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Ramen bowl was massive, probably will be a meal for a few more days. We also opted for some dessert and we were not disappointed, both items we tried were amazing.

Kinya ramen is one of my family’s go to places to go dine at, workers are kind and always check in with you. Bathrooms are always clean and tables as well. Food comes out quickly for our experience and prices are always good. The Godzilla sushi rolls are my stepdad’s and I favorite. They also have happy hour and assortment of alcoholic drinks
