If I could give 0 stars I would but I can’t. I placed an order for pickup for a steak and eggs @ 10:45 and it said it would be ready at 11:04am. It wasn’t ready until 30 minutes after the time it said.. okay, strike one. I didn’t get the eggs because I didn’t want them, It was supposed to come with a medium rare tbone and 2 pancakes. The only thing that was edible was the two pancakes. Strike 2, I called back to try and get the situation settled multiple times but no one answered. Strike 3. I waited until 8:30 to call back and see what could be done about my unsettling experience, the lady that answered the phone literally told me to bring the steak back and I’ll be just charged for the pancakes. EIGHT HOURS LATER. Lady, it’s in the GARBAGE. What makes you think that I kept a well done steak sitting around to bring back to you all when y’all are good and ready to answer the phone???? Then bring it back so yall can do what exactly?? I ordered MEDIUM RARE, there’s no way you thought I would eat a WELL DONE steak when I ordered damn near uncooked steak. If you look in the corner, you can see the piece I literally spit out because it was DISGUSTING. YUCK!

Title: Fantastic Service for a Big Group!
​It had been years since I’d been to an IHOP, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but our recent visit was a fantastic surprise!
​We came in with a huge party, including several kids, which I know can be a handful for any restaurant. But our waitress was an absolute superstar. She handled our chaotic group with so much patience, efficiency, and kindness—she really “killed it” and made our whole breakfast run incredibly smoothly.
​The food was classic and good (those pancakes are always a hit!), but what truly made this visit outstanding was the service. Our waitress’s exceptional care for our large group took the experience over the top. We were so impressed and appreciative that we made sure to leave an extra tip just for her.
​Big thanks to the staff for handling our crew with such ease. We’ll definitely be back

Horrible customer service.

I originally tried to order online, but the website wouldn’t allow me to, so I had to call the store and place my order over the phone. Online, the chicken fajita omelet was listed as $17.98 and included toast and hashbrowns. When I called, I was told toast and hashbrowns were extra. I explained that the online price showed otherwise. Even though I was unhappy, I agreed to pay extra just to get what I wanted.

I live 25–30 minutes away, so I didn’t think to check my order before leaving. When I got home, I realized my hashbrowns and wheat toast were missing. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant, only to be told I “wasn’t charged” for the hashbrowns—despite my receipt clearly showing an additional $5 charge.

By the time this was resolved, my omelet was cold. When I asked if they could remake it, there was no apology, no attempt to accommodate, just more attitude and focus on charging me again. Who wants to eat a cold breakfast after already paying extra and driving back?

The staff showed zero concern for customer satisfaction and didn’t take responsibility for their mistakes. Between the incorrect pricing, missing items, and lack of basic customer service, this experience was a complete waste of money.

I wish I had the option to give 10 stars! I am in ihop almost every Sunday after church and this has become home for me and my family! I love my beautiful server Erica she is like my daughter so sweet she always gives us outstanding service ! She doesn’t treat us like customers she treats us like family! She remembers what drinks we want and some of our favorite food items and to me this means a lot! I am not surprised of her service because she has and amazing Manager Melissa who is also so friendly ! It’s good to go in a restaurant to have great food but it’s absolutely outstanding to go in there mostly because of the great service and relationships we have built there. I always tell people to stop into this particular location if they want great food and service. I also love both Maria’s , Giovani, Adrian and Diana and they aren’t even my service but so sweet and attentive to everyone’s needs! This is my spot! It’s home away from home! I give this place a 10 out of 10!

The blueberry pancakes and sausage were delicious, I definitely recommend. Our waiter was great, food came out fast and order was correct. Eggs were decent but I wasn’t a fan of the bacon.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I never come tothis particular IHop because it is always some kind of problem, or issue that is not even worth the time! I felt a little hungry this morning and found myself closest to this particular IHop. I said it’s been over a year or more since I have been to this one, let me try it out! I am a Senior and I found that the kids meal is the perfect amount for me to be full but not overly full! I have been ordering this same meal wherever I go with NO problems! Not here! What difference does it make what I order as long as you make some kind of money! You are not going to make me purchase more than I can eat or need! That is just too controlling! There are Senior meals and I eat some of them as well, but this one was just perfect! NEVER WILL I EVER GO BACK TO THIS IHOP‼️ The key to business is to make money, not turn people away!! I win! I get to keep my money in my pocket and treat myself at some other breakfast franchise‼️‼️ I have had so many problems at this one! This was the straw, you know the rest!!

Please do not go here, as you are paying for “Horrible” customer service. Not certain whether Melissa is the manager; however, she needs to be placed on immediate disciplinary action. Place a $75 pick-up order through the app. The app doesn’t allow you to select “turkey” instead of “pork.” Contacted the location that has been done several times in the past to get it switched. We are aware of the upcharge and are willing to pay extra. Had to call the restaurant twice for someone to answer the phone. A gentleman answered, but was multitasking as he asked three times what the name on the order. He immediately said no, that’s something they don’t do at this location. Asked to speak with a manager. A lady got on the phone, and we explained our request again. She said no, that’s something we don’t do “at this location.” Explained we’ve done it in the past with no issues. She states she’s been there for three years, and they’ve never done that. Said we want to cancel the order. She said Okay. We asked about a refund. She was very dry and said you get it in 7-14 days. There was no sense of customer service with her, and honestly, I don’t know who thought she deserved to be in management since Customer Service is a #1 priority in food and hospitality. Not certain if her name is actually Melissa or not, as she was very hesitant to provide, once I stated I will be contacting corporate.

Contacted Matteson location from start to finish to confirm that what Melissa stated was not true. A+ Customer Service! The manager did explain it’s a $1.99 up charge and just take a moment to figure out, but it can be accommodated.
