I had a wonderful brunch at First Watch in Raleigh! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and presented well. The best breakfast was suprisingly the breakfast tacos, which were topped with seasoned pork, sliced avocado, pickled onions, and a drizzle of crema, served with a side of black beans and salsa. Definitely need to try them again!

Thank you Jonah for taking care of our table the morning we visited. Staff are friendly and food is good. Serving is a little bigger than our appetite so we have a little bit of left over. The avocado toast with over easy eggs will always be my go to breakfast here.

When I arrived there was no current wait. The atmosphere was inviting and I was able to order within 5 minutes. The food could have been hotter but it was tasty.
I wasn’t thanked when I left.

I am a regular at this location and I absolutely love it! The staff always welcomes me whether I am by myself or with my pup! Food is always good. Today I got an omelette and it was great! I recommend the farmhouse skillet or avocado toast is one of my favorites! The cinnamon toast cereal milk is a good go to cocktail. It’s just so good!! But they also have a wide variety of juice you can try if you want to stay on the sober side! Every staff member is really nice… but the server that has always stood out the most to me is Amber. She is so nice and always quick and efficient. Takes the time to make conversation with you and really make you feel special. This is the best breakfast place in the area in my opinion. Also not too expensive.

Stopped by First Watch on a recent visit to Cary, North Carolina. I didn’t know what to expect but the food was very good. I ordered the trifecta…..I had sunny side eggs over easy with a Belgium waffle and Applewood sausage patties. Would strongly recommend for breakfast.

First Watch used to be really good but they went downhill. I came on a busy Sunday instead of during the week to pick up my order. The wait staff was friendly and apologized for my wait, which ended up being over 25 minutes for a pickup order. My food was not edible. The bacon had a ton of fat and grease, the eggs bland, the bread wasn’t toasted, the biscuit was burnt and the biscuit gravy looked so terrible didn’t bother eating it.
Plus after going home (maybe 7 minutes away?) it tasted ice cold. Will not be going back…

We love First Watch and visit it in different states all the time. It’s probably the only chain restaurant we actually like.

That said, this location was disappointing.

We went on both Saturday, May 3, 2025, and Sunday, May 4, 2025. Both visits had consistent issues:
• Undercooked potatoes
• Bacon served cold, like air temperature, when it’s usually hot (plate is usually too hot for contact)
• Frozen chunks in the power bowl
• Farm tacos mostly filled with tomatoes

Most concerning, they served a dish with dairy to someone who had a clearly noted dairy allergy. That’s never happened to us before. First Watch is usually great about handling allergies and dietary restrictions, but not here.

Yes, it’s a busy location, but so are the others we’ve been to. The problem seems to be with the kitchen staff. The quality just isn’t there.

We’re giving this location 1 star until they sort it out. It doesn’t meet the standard of the others.

Really enjoy this place! Traditional breakfast offerings are available but don’t miss out on the seasonal menu. The steak chimichurri hash was a great choice for something different. Also love their coffee. Staff are friendly and personable. They get a little busy on weekends but I’ve never had to wait long for a table.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Consistently excellent. This First Watch location has been serving great food to my family for many years, and the experience has always been dependable and well executed. From the moment you walk in, everything feels organized, welcoming, and intentional. The food is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and delivered exactly as expected every single visit.

What truly stands out is the team. Management has clearly invested time and effort into building a strong staff culture. You can tell the employees work well together and take pride in what they do. Their attitudes are genuinely positive, which creates an environment that feels relaxed and professional at the same time. That kind of consistency does not happen by accident.

Cleanliness across the entire property is a clear 10 out of 10. Dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces are always well maintained, which says a lot about the standards being upheld behind the scenes. Attention to detail like this matters and it does not go unnoticed.

It is refreshing to find a restaurant that delivers quality, service, and atmosphere so reliably over time. Great work to the entire team, and cheers to the chef for consistently delivering a great experience.

11/23/24: On a Sunday around 12 noon one should expect a bit of a wait. There were about 25 waiting to either dine in or take out. There were 3 employees at the front desk taking orders and seating customers. Overall, I think that the volume was handled well and with poise. They had run out of the artisan juice that I wanted. However, the Meditation Juice was quite the surprise. It was offered as a suggestion. It did not disappoint. Good service, excellent quality, great teamwork!
