Quick and tentative servers. Not very busy for Saturday night.
Chips and Salsa were pretty good!
The food came out very quickly.
The ribs did not seem to be roasted or broiled, but were very soft. They did lack flavor, and the Tequila sauce was very sweet and not much else. I wish there was some contrasting flavor and texture to go with the sweetness, as well as with some char on the ribs.
The Camarones a la Diabla was fine, but the rice and beans were somewhat bland.

Driving through and decided to take a break from driving and sample the local Mexican flair. Ordered the Tequila Ribs and was blown away by the flavor. If the rest of the menu is as good as this appetizer, I’ll have to stop back in next time I’m through!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in awhile! The menu choices were fairly common but the quality and taste was exceptional! Serving sizes were huge and prices are reasonable. The free chips & salsa were great.

We went on a weekday right at 5 pm. It wasn’t crowded, and we got seated right away. We just went in for appatizers and drinks. The salsa and chips were pretty good. The salsa is mild and has no chunks. We got a streak quesadilla, queso, and chicken taco salad. Our food was out within 15 minutes and was hot. Our server was very nice and attentive. The bathroom was clean. They do have a bar (seats about 10) and have multiple tv’s. There is plenty of parking and has handicapped spots. They have outside seating. They do have tables for handicapped seating.

My husband and I found Zapatas when we were looking for a new Mexican restaurant and we are now weekly visitors! Everything we have gotten is delicious, the service is always great and the free chips and salsa are just the cherry on top!! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I have visited this restaurant a few times now and the food is always pretty good Mexican food. We’ve never had an issue with the service as the staff is always polite and attentive. The have plenty of seating on the really nice outdoor patio covered by a huge pergola. They offer happy hour special Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm. I’ve also included pictured of the entire menu! If you want a nice vibe on a weekday or weekend, I would recommend this place.

My first time trying the neighborhood restaurant my neighbor invited me! Went around happy hour it wasn’t busy maybe 4 people. The waiter Stephanie was really nice. The server messed up 3 times his English wasn’t good. Our waiter apologized it wasn’t her fault. The food was good authentic. I was informed they were related to La Fogata Grill (I love Fogata have amazing food my chimichanga was big!) You need to give a try to see how you feel! Over the years I see it’s always crowded! The is a patio for the warmer days!

Avoid this place, they use Sysco. The food seemingly isn’t made fresh because of how quickly it comes out after ordering it.
We ordered the Ribs appetizer which came out no less than two minutes after we ordered them, and our food came out no less than three minutes after our appetizer. I’ve never been served food so quickly any place i’ve ever went, which made me question the quality of the food immediately. I ordered the Shrimp Fajitas and they were warm, but not sizzling hot like you would expect from a Mexican restaurant.
There are countless Mexican restaurants in town and they would all be better than this place.

Nomadic Flavors
Zapatas continues to impress! I ordered the Lunch Chimichanga, and it came out incredibly fast—fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. This was my second visit, and the experience was just as great as the first. The only minor downside is the chips; they can be a bit dry and lacking in flavor. But aside from that, everything else was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Despite being busy during weekends they are welcoming. Staff is so nice and friendly. These kind of gestures make us keep coming. Good food and good seating outdoors. Sunday dine in was just perfect. Nice place to come with family. Their menu have some good authentic Mexican food. Shrimp tacos the best. Seafood quesadillas were awesome. The quantity is just perfect. Quality is of course good. Fries on the side is seasoned and crisp unlike other places who give saggy fries on the side. Jalapeño poppers were the best appetizer. 4 starts for good food and plus 1 is for good hospitality
