I finally got the chance to experience the legendary deli! I had the chicken salad and it was delicious. This place has a very casual vibe and is easy to find on hwy 105. Helpful staff on deciding what to order. Plenty of seats and parking. I’ll be back!

I saw this place on Instagram and it took over a year for me to finally get there. It was worth the wait. I got the Stallone the lucky Luciano and the Corleone. All sandwiches were amazing. They are also beautiful. Probably the prettiest sandwiches you will ever see. If I’m going to Houston or coming back from Houston this is definitely a stop that I will make. There are at least four other sandwiches I want to try. Check this place out.

This is a terrific Old school sandwich shop!! Grinders, Heroes, subs you name it they have it. All, deluxe sandwiches are named after a famous Italian personality. Had the Build your own on Italian bread with Roasted turkey, Provolone cheese and all the vegetables. Great place to enjoy a great sandwich and relax in an entertaining atmosphere. My husband found a video on TikTok about this place, so we drove an hour to try it out. Amazing subs/sandwiches, we got the Stallone and the Ruben. We could only eat half because they are so big, can’t wait to eat the other half later. Also the best cannoli I’ve had in years. Worth the drive and would definitely come back.

Is this the best place on all of Yelp?!?
No…but is it a really good sandwich? YES!!!
I saw this place win the best place on all of Yelp and I’ve had it bookmarked for years. However, I couldn’t justify making the drive.
I just happened to be in the area visiting Margaritaville and was looking for dinner and this place popped up and I screamed in excitement!
The family pulled up and it was empty and we were worried it was the wrong place. Upon entering the menu looked really good. We didn’t know what to pick!
So we opted for 1 cold and 3 sandwiches to share.
We had the Danza, Stallone, chicken parm, and meatball. We had the regular sizes and they were huge! They come cut in two and just one half is plenty for one person.
We ended up cutting the whole sandwich into 4ths for the ability to sample all of sandwiches.
The cold one was good but the hot ones were just a whole level more. When they are baked the cheese gets melted and the bread gets crispy.
My favorite was the Danza it was packed full of meat. The meatball was next and then Stallone and finally the chicken parm. The chicken parm was just a little dry. But man the sandwiches are packed with flavor. It takes a little long to make but totally worth the wait.
After eating them would I make the drive again? Unfortunately almost 2 hrs for a sandwich even this good is not worth it. But if I was in the area again? Heck yeah you better believe it and at least one to go!

Don’t let looks fool you! This place makes the absolute best sandwichs! I tried the turkey melt and was not disappointed. Toasted crunchy bread, a pile of meat, melted pepperjack cheese with olive oil to top it off. Literally couldn’t put it down. A large sandwich could easily be split between 2 people. The exterior doesn’t look like much, but the interior has a rustic charm. We’ll worth a visit or two or three!
