Stopped in to have a drink and grab a bite along with checking out this pub and see whats new. I haven’t been back here in yrs.
Walked in and was greeted by the lady that works the bar. She nice and welcoming.
Waited for my guest to show up and we sat there for a bit with no service and as soon as I was about to go as for drinks our server came to us.
Order our drinks and then continue to talk business. Our server came ask if we were ready to order which we said not yet we apologize we haven’t even looked at the menu yet. She walked away looked annoyed.
Then we order our food which took a pretty long time getting it out to us.
We thanked her for it and continued our conversation.
We Ordered more drinks and that took a long time getting to us too. But the vibe that our server kind of gave us wasn’t too good. So we finished up and left.
Overall spot seems like a pretty chilled spot.
Overall food was good and maybe she was just having a bad day who knows. They have a wonderful menu and yes I will still come back and try out more food off their menu.

We got the potato skins, pretzel and crab ragoon pizza. Potato skins where huge and had plenty of cheese and bacon. Pretzel where hot and fresh. But the star of the show was definitely the crab ragoon pizza, seems like it shouldn’t work, but it’s perfect. Definitely makes me want to come back and try more!

Had lunch there. I had the gouda mac burger which had bacon and cheesy curds on top of a burger. It was not bad. I also tried the pizza which was pretty good. It was on the thinner side and not too crispy with not too much red sauce which I like. Would eat there again. They also have volley ball courts.

We eat here a lot since we live right down the road but when it comes to burgers it’s not hard to cook them, one was suppose to be medium not medium rare , other one was just burnt and things were cold . I hope the cook is just having a bad night

Party of 16 at the last minute and they accommodated us immediately with amazing service (thank you Stella). The music is diverse and only in the background (don’t have to yell over it). It’s a well lit place, so you can see what you’re eating. The food was very good. The atmosphere was perfect for us (an basketball team visiting Holt high school—parents at one table and players at another, right next to us). While we weren’t there to play volleyball, we were impressed with the facility. I don’t eat meat, so I was super happy to be able to order an Impossible Burger as a substitute for any of the burger options. I highly recommend The Smitty. The calzones are huge and tasty— big enough for two to eat.

A quintessential sports bar with a fairly decent menu. Close to the highway and MLK. Ample parking. Men/Women/Family bathrooms. Beach volleyball court outside. Pool tables and dart boards inside. Several TVs on the walls tuned to sports, news and a triller movie.
Nice selection of drafts and bottled beers. Waitstaff and bartender were on point tonight. The crowd was a mix of working stiffs, families, peeps hanging out.
I had the smothered chicken with sweet potato fries. Tasty! Nice house salad to boot.

Food super good. Friendly staff and fair prices for the portions you get. Looks like they have ALOT to do there. Would be a super fun place in the summer! If im ever around that area again, i would go back!

I was so happy to see they had Open Faced Roast Beef sandwiches!! Not too many places still serve this. And it was delicious! So much meat and potatoes. Good red skinned mashed potatoes too. I also got the deep fried pickles and those were good too. Also, the service was great. We had a small group of 7 and we received everything we ordered and had no issues with the waitress; she did a great job.

Had lunch here with my daughter during a Sunday trip. As I do at many restaurants, in my attempt to find the best Reuben, I ordered a Reuben sandwich which was accompanied by a pickle and sides of coleslaw and kettle chips. As Reubens go, this sandwich had the least amount of meat of any Reuben I’ve consumed in years. It had good taste, but could be much better. My daughter ordered boneless wings and they tasted and looked processed. Fortunately, the french fries are very good. Also their online prices are wayyyyy less than the current in-restaurant pricing. Atmosphere? Lots of TVs with lots of sports. Plenty of space between tables, so you’re not tripping over others. If you like to watch sports, drink beer and don’t much care about what you eat, this may be the place for you.
