TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken was juicy, atmosphere was hip, staff was helpful when they wanted to be. Husband had to sign a waiver for the spiciest chicken and we all laughed at the silliness. Um, I stopped laughing when I tried a bite. OUCH!
Anything that has fruity pebbles in it is going to be a win and that milkshake was delicious. The cost for a family of five eating a fast food dinner … well that was just as painful as the reaper tender. Both made my eyes water.
Honestly, it wasn’t the best meal I’ve had. We’ve experienced it and don’t feel a need to go back.

Tried Dave’s for the first time yesterday on Black Friday. I got two mild sliders and a side of pickles! Chicken was a 10/10, buns 10/10, Pickles 10/10, Sauce i’d give an 9/10 only because it was more of a sweet sauce rather than savory which I prefer, but still really good. Over all 9.5/10! Definitely worth a stop in! Definitely going to try a hotter strip next time.

The chicken tenders were hot and juicy. I didn’t get any spice, but they had a good flavor. The fries were hot and taste fine but the serving seemed light. The sliced bread served under the tenders is probably great when you over do the spice, but wasn’t appetizing by itself. The two tender combo is over $12. The staff were pleasant and prompt. The murals and theme of the place was very young urban, but I don’t usually dine in. Everything was good but a little pricey for my taste.

Amazing and moist chicken bites. The loaded fries were delicious and huge. We were able to split them between 3 of us. The slushies were the bomb. The staff were exceptional. Alonnah and Makea went above and beyond to take care of us.

Been here twice at request of my kid. Both times were enjoyable. The cost was a little hard to swallow, but the wonderful service and their generosity with sauces and pickles, even after I paid and got my food, is well worth it. I got a big box of mild, meant to get plain. But mild had a good flavor to it. My kid got one hot strip in her meal, one mild slider, and cheese on her fries. She was in heaven. I enjoyed the environment and music while waiting. Very clean.

This place was very delicious one order of 2 sliders fills up 2 people. Pretty good price and portions. The kale slaw was my favorite the art in the building and cleanness was very satisfying to gaze at. I definitely recommend coming here and can’t wait to come back. The chicken was juicy and the outside was crunchy and spicy what else can you ask for. ️

Preordered on my app for a 12 pm pick up after I got done walking the doggies and it was ready at the exact time! Fresh and hot! Ran home to eat and was still great quality and taste! Got two sliders with one medium and the other hot! I usually order reaper but decided to explore! Will def stick to reaper but tasty nonetheless! I just love spice too much!
