The location Is a Greek family dinner with standard fair and good food with which they take great care. The Food Quality Is High so the prices are reasonable and the service was fast and friendly.
The GYRO was very nice with nice Flat top crisper meat slices that gives you a mix of moist and crisp. So definitely ask for a fork because you will want to sample the ample meat on the GYRO by itself. Mmm so crispy… and definitely spring for a side of Taziki sauce as its definitely house made and Thick creamy and yummy… This is what Taziki dreams are made of… they add some thin slices of tomato and onions… not alot but just for contrast…. If you like alot of onions you’ll need to ask for extra as they are thin and sparse… like I said just enough for contrasting flavor…
The fries are crisp hot and tasty… exactly what a frie should be.
They have coke products and brewed ice tea… this place gets a perfect score on knowing what drinks people like. And yes the coke is in the clear red plastic glasses a choice way to serve it… see pics … people next to me had insanely good looking double decker sandwich.

A decent gyro place. I just got the super gyro and water. Total price was about $12.50 after tax and tips. Gyro meat was decent and the sauce in it paired well.

The food was decent, but on the expensive side. $22 before tax for a Gyro, fries and a drink. It was packed, which we expected, and service was good. Nice servers. The gyro was good, but I will probably pass on future visits unless I’m really craving a gyro.

Busy, fast, friendly and delicious! That was my experience today. Sat at the counter and got a front row seat to all of the food prep. My gyro and fries were fresh and delicious. I will be back to try one of their famous double decker sandwiches.

All and all not a bad restaurant. The staff is great and the food is better then average. If they are busy it’s a bit hard to get a table but people move quickly so that helps. Definitely worth a try.

Great lunch spot, the dining room was full and had to sit outside. Fortunately there was great weather and made for a great experience. Plenty of food for the price and served quickly. Must wear a mask before sitting down to eat. Socially distanced. Street entrance is where you enter and the side door is where you exit to avoid contact. Highly recommend the Classic Gyro!

Whenever I have meetings in the sharonville area I always schedule them around lunch so I can come here. It is the classic Greek lunch counter experience. I’ve only had the gyro, because it’s one of the best I’ve ever had, near perfect to be exact. They are literally open only 30 hours a week and they ain’t hurting for business. Do yourself a favor and try this place

Athenian is one of those rare spots that gets everything right. The gyros are genuinely some of the best I’ve had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The vibe is cool in that classic old-town way, which honestly adds to the charm. And the service? Absolutely out of this world.
