This was a good experience with Sgt. Peffer’s, it is convenient for pick up with the drive through which is awesome. The staff was friendly and made sure our order was correct before closing the bags. We got food on a Friday so they had the Chicken Florentine soup which was really really good. Haven’t had a bad soup from this place. I had the Italian sampler with a half and half of red and white sauce which is the move here. One of my buddies did the same. My wife had the tortellini with the mixed sauce and my other buddy did the cannelloni with the mixed sauce as well. I have been in the past and not done the mixed sauce and wasn’t too impressed but something about having both of them to mix or go back and forth with is great. The side salad for my one friend was good just a side salad he did just get ranch tho and not one of their dressings. Rolls were okay. I have had the pizza before which is also good. Another thing they do which is really unique is if you’re having drinks at the Homey Inn across the street they will deliver food over there as well. Definitely will be back and glad to see they were able to make it through the first stage of construction in the area. Look forward to my next meal here.

Went in to support local and lived coming here in my 20s moved away and came back recentl. Had to order up front and pay in advance, Bill was 46.07 tipped 10 bucks . Ordered Italian peppers and sausages as an appetizer – was brought out and server said sausage chunks? Left it at the table one sausage cut into slices and ith cheese and red saucewith No peppers. There were no small plates to share the appetizer or serving utensils for the appetizer. .I went to the register and Asked for bread was told it’s 1.00 or .75 cents each. Ordered mostaccioli and Bolognese sauce, was brought out server said spaghetti and red sauce and it was soggy overcooked and watery, also ordered the mushrooms and sherry baked chicken. It has no seasoning, the chicken tasted boiled and the noodles were overcooked. No one asked how the food was, no one offered to refill beverages. The 4 staff sat and chatted and complained about customers they wanted to leave. We ate a few bites and left disappointed. Not what anyone should expect when spending over 50 bucks for two. We were the only people there. For the first 15 minutes of the visit. We know that it was hard for y’all during the construction and that’s why we came. We probably won’t come back. Again.

Went here with my girlfriend because I had good memories of this place years ago and wanted to show her some good Italian dishes. Asked for the payment and tip first which I’ve just never been a big fan of tipping before I try the food or service but that’s just a side note. Got our food and it seemed to have been placed in the microwave and had zero flavor which is insane to me how it could taste like nothing. Also gnats EVERYWHERE too can’t have a bite of food without swatting them away.

Looked like the person who was supposed to take our order was interviewing someone and it took awhile for anyone to even acknowledge us but when we finally were acknowledged, the service was great! The grilled chicken salad used to have a lot more spinach in it but now it’s primarily iceberg lettuce. Still good though. The soup of the day was some sort of creamy vegetable soup and it was great! I stop here everytime I come to visit and now that I’ve shared the food, I’ll have a much larger order when I return!

Found my way around the construction to get a sandwich today. Haven’t been down here for a couple months honestly and forget how great the food is! Got the Strombo Sandwich and it was delicious. Comes with a side of potato salad.
Only down side was I picked it up and drove to the park for a picnic. The napkin and spoon were like hidden under the foil in the box and I had no idea they existed until I was done eating. It’s silly but maybe stick those in the bag for us simple folk who don’t search under the foil liner in the box! Even though I had to eat the potato salad like a Jell-O shot, overall a great place to eat lunch! If you think you’re missing something, look harder lol

Went here as a late birthday thing. Service was nice and the atmosphere was amazing. The food, however? Mid as hell. It looked awesome but the spaghetti was overcooked and my family had the same experience. I’d only reccomend this place if you live closeby.

Have y’all ever had Sgt Peffers pizza?
We stopped by there on Friday as we were craving a pizza. We keep seeing awesome reviews and pictures so we decided to do something about it. We were definitely missing out this whole time we’ve lived in Omaha.
I love a pizza that you can really taste all of the fresh ingredients and it’s not just a mash of cheese and sauce. Granted, I have my days when I just want some Little Caesars but good quality pizza is really out here. The crust, the sauce, the toppings, and the cheeeeeese!
I’m a bit of a food monster so I also wanted to try the roast beef sandwich. (Yes I ate the sandwich and pizza) I was really impressed with the taste on this too. The bread was toasted yet really soft. The beef was moist and not overly seasoned. The provolone was stringy because of how hot it was coming out but YES MA’AM I’d order another in a heart beat!
Can’t sleep on Sgt Peffer’s anymore! This is going on our regular visits list!

Fruit flies coming out of side salad. When shared with server, she asked if wanted another salad. No because sure an issue with all prepared salads. Spent visit with fruit flies. Table next to us commented on fruit flies and not returning. I notofied a young man wiping down tables. His response was I know and it is bad. I will not return.

We haven’t eaten there in years figured we would try it again. We will never be back. I walked in the door and heard the staff yelling and cussing. Got home the pizza wasn’t cooked all the way it was cut very poorly. The chicken parmigiana had little sauce on it all I could taste was the noodles. The only thing that was good was the potato salad.
