Food was great… I got the cheeseburger with spicy colby cheese and chips and the green salsa… Everything is grass fed, organic, or homemade. I ordered a water they said there are the cups and the water is in the cooler. I figured since it was in a cooler the water would be cold but nope, so i asked for ice they have none. Everything like condiments, napkins, and to go boxes you have to get them yourselves. The atmosphere is really nice they also have an outside seating area you can eat at. Definitely recommend but they need to get some ice or make sure the water is cold everything else was perfect and the waitresses were very nice and helpful.

I heard about Red River Rockhouse from a person that does Instagram restaurant reviews in Ky. He gave the restaurant a great review. So since we rented a cabin in Red River Gorge this weekend we decided to check it out for ourselves. We ordered the Cheeseburger w/fries and White Cheddar. The burger came and it was so big it hung over the edge of the bun. And I’m not exaggerating it had to be 1/2 pound. The plate was covered with fries. The beef is sourced locally, had patted and grass fed. It was a very good burger. If you’re going to be in the Gorge you need to stop by Red River Rockhouse. It’s about 5 miles off the Mountain Parkway.

We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the burrito and everything was fresh and delicious! If you’re planning on ordering the burrito, go hungry because it’s a chipotle burrito on steroids. It weight as much as a newborn baby lol, but it was so good and had so much flavor. The bacon cheeseburger is a smash burger and it was tasty too but it was just too done and it made it too dry to eat. The beer on tap was good was good too. We ordered their carrot cake to go and that didn’t disappoint. I can’t forget to mention the friendly staff. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!!

This was the cutest and most delicious spot to grab lunch at after our Underground Gorge experience. Reasonably priced with a fantastic menu, Red River Rockhouse brought our food out quickly and the portions were well worth the price. There’s indoor and outdoor seating with the sweetest decor perfect for a quick lunch or relaxing dinner.

This place was highly recommend by several people we met during our daily adventures. Friendly and welcoming staff with fast service. The burrito was enormous and very good. You will try to eat the whole thing because it’s so good. The burgers are really good also with enough fries for the whole table. If your in the red river gorge area check this place out.

We had a perfect day in the gorge and finished it with lunch at Red River Rockhouse. The food is consistently excellent. The BLT was delicious, and the extra-large portion of fries was more than enough after a long hike. Great food and generous portions!

My boyfriend and I came to Kentucky from Indiana. We decided to try this place for dinner and we are so glad we did. The hummus wrap tasted phenomenal and the burger was fresh. You could tell the fries are homemade as well. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere to eat!

Great little place in the Gorge! Delicious burgers and a fun dining room. Forgot to take a picture before the first bite, and then didn’t want to stop. Seriously, the burgers and hand cut fries are so good. Their sign is missing, but easy to find with GPS.
Thanks for a great meal! We will be back.
