As a French person, I don’t say this lightly: these are one of the best crepes I’ve ever had. ‍

We ordered the Chicken Pesto and the Ham & Cheese both were incredible. Perfect texture, generous fillings, full of flavor. For dessert, the Matcha crepe was just as good.

The decor is trendy and very raw with lots of wood. It looks nice but it’s not very cozy :/ it could use softer touches. The front is cuter than the back (where you can see the fridges). Also important: it’s a screen-free café so you can’t work on a laptop there.

Food-wise though? Absolutely outstanding. I’d come back just for the crêpes

A very beautiful and spacious place with a style. The only thing is, they need to work on their crepes! We ordered one with a turkey and second was with a matcha. The both were completely tasteless. The turkey had onion that seemed boiled and chopped with huge chunks. The sauce was off. The matcha crepe was too creamy and the matcha was bitter! Means that they use cheap and bad quality matcha. The guy at the bar seemed unhappy to see us. The service was okay, but fast. The only thing that was good was the coffee.

I got the ham and cheese crepe. I couldn’t finish it cause it was so rich and heavy. We were a party of 3 and none of us could finish theres. I would recommend getting a couple different crepes and sharing them amongst the table.

The coffee selection was good which was a plus. Overall, the vibe just wasn’t my style and not somewhere I’d want to post up in. Maybe that’s why they make it a no laptop zone. The swinging birdcage chairs at the front of the restaurant were cool.

Wonderful food and atmosphere! I got the loks with a fried egg, the wild berry cheesecake, and a Nutella latte.

My only complaint is with the person who took my order. He did not seem particularly enthused to be there, and also seemed to be in a rush. Other than that, a good experience!

One of the best crepe place in Chicago? Nope, its the BEST! Period, no discussion. Butter & Sugar is literally the best one of them all but only if you are a purist when it comes to flavors.

One of my favorite spots in the city! I come to The Crepe Shop often, and every visit is a delight. The staff here is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home.

If you’re not sure what to order, I highly recommend the Wild Berry Cheesecake crepe with banana and fresh strawberries — it’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely beautiful on the plate. They also make an excellent affogato, which is a rare find in the US and a perfect treat for coffee lovers.

The atmosphere is bright and cozy, filled with greenery and warm details, making it a great place to relax, read, or meet friends. Paired with consistently great coffee and delicious food, it’s easy to see why I keep coming back.

I have had many great crepes from many different places (including Paris), but the Crepe Shop has the best crepes of all, hands down! They are delicious, and our whole family agrees. Every time we are in Chicago, we make sure to make it over to the Crepe Shop for both sweet and savory crepes. And the restaurant is decorated so nicely – it has such a calming effect. Can’t wait to return and have more crepes!

I tried the matcha latte at the café and it was smooth and earthy, the customer service was kind and the environment calm, but it’s easy to walk to the wrong entrance. I found parking on the side street. I didn’t try any food.

The crepes didn’t only taste good, but they also looked like the workers put a lot of effort into it! The staff were very nice, and assisted us when my mom lost her phone. I like their creativity on creating the menu and how they also decorated the store. The crepes were also very flavorful! This deserves a solid 5 stars!
