It’s consistent every time without fail which is uncommon now a days in the restaurant business.
We seem to always get the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, birria tacos, and tostada de ceviche. The bichis is fantastic as well. It the broth from the birria. You just drink it.
They have a rhythm in the kitchen that is unseen anywhere else. That makes the food come out quick, fast and in a hurry and the quality and flavor is never compromised due to the speed.
The batter on the fish tacos is amazing and so is the taste. Same goes for the shrimp tacos. You would swear you’re right by the ocean it’s so fresh!
The tostada de ceviche is worth getting every time as well. Really, anything you get here is well worth it!
Please keep it up! You are a jewel in Nogales.

Fast service. They have a little self service bar where they have all condiments (mayo, ketchup, limes, veggies, etc)
Nice little restaurant. It is a little crowded but the food is very good.if you are claustrofobic I would see if they have to go.

Authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine. I had the incredible tacos de Cabeza and wonderful breaded fish tacos. Informal atmosphere with local families and outdoor seating available. Food was served quickly with lots of fresh salsas, pickled onions, and flaming hot chili oil. The owner German was bussing tables and helping customers. We spoke briefly and he is a delightful person.

First time visiting from Tucson. We went on a recommendation from friends. This place moved to the top of our list for birria, lengua tacos, breaded shrimp and breaded fish tacos. I’m sure everything else is good based on this experience. The people who run this establishment are friendly and helpful which made our visit wonderful. Coming back for sure with the rest of the family. Definitely the best hole in the wall in southern Arizona. I can drink their cold fresh Jamaica (hibiscus) water all day. In fact, I ordered an extra for the road home.

We stopped in at the recommendation of a friend. We arrived 20 minutes before closing and had to wait in a short line before we could order. 1 fish taco, 1 shrimp taco, and a horchata drink later we knew this place was moving to the top of the list of places to eat with friends and family. Service was fast and courteous. The food was excellent. Seating was both inside and outside in the patio. Highly recommend La Ley. Cannot wait to try the birria and the ceviche.

Referred by coworker and he didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable get delicious lunch. 4 total tacos and Coca Cola for less than $12 is amazing in todays market. Also did I mentioned the fish and shrimp tacos were spot on!?!?!? Recommend 5/5 times

Although it’s located in an unsuspecting area of Nogales, the tacos here were delicious. My favorite was the beef cheek taco. The facilities were very clean and the staff was super friendly. There’s a good amount of outdoor seating or you can order and eat in your car in the lot.

I was down in Nogales, AZ today and my business partner suggested we go check out this hole in rhe wall restaurant for lunch, and since he is from Nogales, how could I deny his request. It was one of the best suggestions I have ever been part of! You can’t see the restaurant off the main road, so if you don’t know it’s there, you’re gonna miss it. It’s a Local favorite and an out of town FAVORITE! I tries the Shrimp Taco, Fish Taco, and Dorado Taco. TASTY!!! Food was fresh, the salsas were great, and the condiments were fresh as well. Authentic MEXICAN cuisine at it’s finest. The place was clean, but small and I hear lunch hour gets packed! I can understand why. Lunch for 2 was around $24 including tip. They have an outside Patio as well, and the restrooms are outside and very clean. Highly Recommend 🙂
