First time entering this establishment and was by far taken by The View and the atmosphere. There is an ambient aura and vibe here. Immediately we were welcome in the most professional and kind manner. BROOKE (BEAUTIFUL AND VIVACIOUS BARTENDER MANAGER) provided outstanding service and made you feel like she valued your business. The food ordered was the Brisket with a side of string beans and baked beans with shredded beef with a cupcake shape cornbread, the second orders was the southern fried fish all you can eat with a side order of Cajun fries! Delectable to say the least. A return visit is definitely in order!!! Live music, plenty of space to sit whether inside or outside, clean restrooms!!! So if you are in town and looking to enjoy your self or with family and friends..come on down to WEST ALLEY BBQ AND SMOKEHOUSE!!!

Came the other day with a friend, we love supporting local businesses. Front door was blocked due to the construction and there was no signage, I almost thought it was closed but my friend knew there was a back door so we went around back. Menu was vast and we could smell the smoker going as we sat. I ordered the brisket sandwich and fries and my friend ordered the half pound brisket with fries and beans.
Food arrived shortly after ordering. Overall the food was good. The fries were different than pictured on the menu and I’m not a fan of crinkle fries. The meat was tender and a nice mix of juicy and lean brisket.
The cornbread that came with the half pound meal was dry and gross- it tasted pretty made and bought in bulk.
Coleslaw was trash. It was vinegar based and tasted terrible- I had to spit it out.
Crinkle cut fries are also gross.

This place is clearly a great place to get barbecue. The staff is super friendly. The environment is amazing and the food is absolutely killer. What a great place to visit if you don’t visit this place and you’re doing yourself at the service I will definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

My wife and I went here to try a different BBQ restaurant then we normally go to and we hadn’t been to downtown Chandler in quite awhile and there are a lot of newer restaurants to try. I thought the food was okay. I had the pulled pork sandwich which came with a very small cup of coleslaw. Nothing else. An additional side was $2.00. It was okay. I felt it lacked some flavor and I like the meat a little drier. The hushpuppies were good and I enjoyed those. I also felt that the BBQ sauce was good.

Fantastic BBQ joint! Food is on point. The BBQ was very tasty but not greasy like some places. The mac and cheese was amazing. The space is well designed and the atmosphere is pure fun. Good beer and cocktail selection and the service is fantastic. Live music is here often. Give them a try!

Wish we would’ve tried this place sooner. Our usual BBQ shop closed down, so we decided to give a new place a shot. We were very happy we did as this place is absolutely fantastic!
Highlights of our visit were the brisket and the sides (in our case beans and mac n cheese). The sides were definitely home made and packed full of flavor. The cook on the brisket was absolutely perfect.
Other notable mentions – the 2 sauces on the table (mild, hot, and Tennessee whiskey) and the excellent service.
We’ll definitely be adding this to our restaurant rotation.

As if $8.20 for a lukewarm beer in a flimsy plastic cup wasn’t enough…
Wanted to say that the ribs were good.
Sides were very mediocre as well as the portion sizes.
The $6.14 1/3 of an ear of corn was tasty but hardly worth the price.
Waitress seemed pretty aloof. The service was abhorrent.
One of those places I wondered why I’ve never been to and now wonder if I’ll ever be back.

We tried this place for dinner one night. We were greeted quickly and seated. I ordered the Brisket and my partner ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. We enjoyed both were very moist and delicious. The sides were very good also. The pickle chips, potato salad, coleslaw and Cajun corn on the cob were so good. Our server was very attentive. The restrooms were clean as were the restrooms. Will return again soon.

What a great place! We hosted our daughter’s graduation party here. The staff were so attentive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They helped to get our set-up just right, ensured the food was on time, hot and delicious. The FOOD!!! SO good! We had the brisket (amazingly tender and so flavorful!), ribs (again, tender and so flavorful), mac n cheese (absolutely the BEST!!), potato salad, West Alley salad and corn bread. All of our guests raved about how good the food was. West Alley BBQ team made our party a success. Thank you!

My wife and I are older and travel a lot. We eat at many restaurants around the world. Anyone that eats out a lot knows majority of the times only some of the food is spot on and the same with the service hit and miss. Michael our server was exceptionally great. Really made us enjoy all areas of service. Marcus the chef a little on the shy side had to be coaxed to our talk so we could personally congratulate him on his perfect food. Every thing we ate was delicious. It is very difficult to find a restaurant where the food and service is great. We will be back many more times.
