So fun! The band was so alive and interactive. Piano, guitar, drums and big personalities on stage. The performances were so fun. The energy was high and entertaining.
There was a cover charge for the band, but I felt it was worth it cause they were so good.
There was a bathroom attendant that I felt the need to tip so if you get pressured easy, that’s gonna get you.
The bartenders were busy and it was loud, but they were attentive and fast.

Fun Plano bar/club. Music venue was outstanding and entertaining. Musicians very talented. Good to see visitors engage with them. Great place to dance, drink and hang out. Not just for younger crowd. Parking in garages near by. Cover was 5 bucks. Good selection of drinks. Definitely worth trying.

Such a fun place to spend a night out! I won a free party there which came with free appetizers and there were lots of drink specials too. The drinks are so affordable and there’s a ton of options. Everything tasted great and the music was excellent! They really made an effort to include songs that we requested which made it so much fun. There’s also a photo booth with a lot of different options for pictures! We loved this place and we can’t wait to come back soon for their next theme night!

Went for the New Years Eve party. The performers were great as well as the bar staff. Overall had an enjoyable night. The dinner food was borderline not edible. The steak/ tv dinner meat was very poor. The chicken rubbery and no taste. The 6 of us ended up eating cheese and rice for dinner. The appetizers were a little better as the meatballs were edible.
I would suggest putting a little more effort into the food to match the atmosphere which was very fun. If we return for New Years will definitely be eating dinner before we go then trying to justify the price of the evening without the food.

So much fun! One of our best date nights in Pittsburgh!! The live music was great and the service was excellent from the minute we walked in the door. Our server was extremely attentive and kept the drinks coming and they were excellent!

The band is amazing. This was the most fun I have had in a piano bar. The band is amazingly talented. My wife and I had the best time. Everyone from our server to Natalie who handled our reservations were exceedingly professional. We cannot recommend your establishment enough.

the atmosphere and band are great. the workers not so much. both times i’ve been there the bartenders and the security guards have an attitude. made me cry on my birthday lol. my friends and i also noticed that some of the bartenders flat out refuse to serve women but won’t hesitate to serve men.

We were at Howl at the Moon in Pittsburgh on a Friday night, and I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with the staff and security team. The atmosphere, live music, and energy were exactly what you expect from a great night out in downtown Pittsburgh, but what really stood out was how they handled a sketchy situation.
There were a few creepy guys clearly preying on girls, and before things escalated, Howl at the Moon staff noticed and stepped in immediately. Security came over to check on us, made sure we were okay, and smartly distracted the guys while another team member escorted us out safely and walked us away from the area. At the same time, they made sure another girl who had been ditched by her friends was not left alone and stayed with her to ensure she was safe.
That level of awareness and care is rare and incredibly appreciated, especially at a busy live music bar. It made us feel protected, respected, and genuinely cared for. Huge credit to the Howl at the Moon Pittsburgh security and staff for taking women’s safety seriously while still keeping the night fun for everyone.
If you’re looking for a fun bar with live music and a team that actually has your back, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.

Howl at the Moon is always such a blast and this Pittsburgh location is no different – it’s a great live music venue and bar for having fun on the weekend!
I decided to give Howl at the Moon a visit when I was in Pittsburgh for one night and checking out a few downtown spots on a Friday.
I’ve previously been to the location they have in Chicago, so I knew that they’re fun for hanging out and enjoying some live music.
There was a decent crowd but still plenty of room at the bar for flagging down a bartender and ordering a drink.
I appreciated that the space inside was very spacious and the bar both centrally located but also a bit towards the back, leaving plenty of room between it and the stage for the music/bands.
The drinks are your standard well drinks and draft beers mostly, but they do the job and are a good price.
Looking for a spot in downtown Pittsburgh with great vibes for hanging out and having fun with some drinks and music?

I came here for the Live Music show. And what a show. The band was amazing. We requested very different songs and artist and they played everything perfect. They played Prince, Queen, Elvis, Tina Turner, White stripes, Dua Lipa, Amy Winehouse and everything we asked for. What a talented people! I will be back next time I will be in Pittsburgh. Thank you for wonderful night! Great selection of beers however I did not try the food this time.
