First time but we’ll definitely be back. Busy when we walked in but got seated right away (2 people), quick service with drinks and taking our order. Got the Hobo Sammich and loaded hash browns! Delicious but did need salt and pepper on both. French toast and stewed apples were excellent! We’re coming back for breakfast to try the meatloaf and tuna salad plate.

Omg….since I’m a bigback I tried the hobosammich…..it was DELICIOUS! And their mini pancakes are huge. My son had French toast and devoured it! So glad we stopped in!

I have had the pleasure of dining with Tramway Diner on many occasions. Not once have I had a meal disappoint. This morning my uncle and myself enjoyed breakfast together. He has eaten here likely over 1500 times. That is no exaggeration. He gets the same dish everytime. Three eggs with cheese, bacon, grits and toast. The bacon must be extra crispy though. I got what is referred to as the “Hobo Sandwich”. I don’t know who this hobo is but he can surely curate a good meal. I love the roosters that decorate the restaurant as well as the daily scriptures that are hand written. I am now very full and very sleepy. I think I’ll go take a nap.

Had the kitchen sink omelet add mushrooms for breakfast this morning with a side order of liver pudding. It was all excellent. The hash browns were nice and crispy. The 2 chocolate chip pancakes were wonderful. They were topped with at least a full cup of whipped cream. My lunch yesterday there was beef liver and onions. I loved it and their house side salad with homemade ranch dressing was also very good. Highly recommend this place.

First before I even get into the food, I want to say that despite being packed on a Sunday morning, staff was welcoming, happy, and worked well together with the best attitude and team cohesion I’ve ever seen.
The food was hot fresh and delicious. My husband and I both had omelettes and hash browns, the portions were beyond filling!
Resturant was clean, staff didn’t stay still at all. Helping other tables and each other. I spoke to a manger while I was there, just to say thank you, I had to wait to see her, because she was out in the floor working with her staff, while the owner was behind the grill coming with his crew. Beyond impressed with this diner from start to finish.

Small-town diner here we come. I’ve been a few times and this place is economical, tasty, and so friendly. The decor has seen brighter days, but it has a familiar feel like walking into your grandparent’s house. The food is everything you expect. Sandwiches, burgers, fried fish, omelets. The portions are big and the cost is small. Seriously, I had two beef hotdogs with mustard and sauerkraut, fried okra, and an Arnold Palmer for less than a fast food combo meal. It’s a return to a simpler time when a meal out could be satisfying and not cost a fortune. Friendly smiles every time you walk in make you feel like they were expecting you. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in.

I just don’t understand how this place has a 4.5 star review ? This has to be like the worst breakfast food ever. I asked about the sausage gravy and the girl didn’t mention it was canned! As soon as I saw it, I could tell. Why not just make it homemade ? The sausage party was gross, I couldn’t even swallow it. It just seems that everything they serve is the lowest quality. I had to order different food, so I ordered a breakfast sandwich and like how do you mess up a sandwich? They got the eggs wrong and it was so dry. Idk, I was expecting much more and was severely let down.
My man got a tuna sandwich and pinto beans and sweet potato casserole. I don’t understand how food can be so bland and flavorless. How do people think this place is good ??
Shoutout to the cashier to did come thru by giving me a discount and the server for replacing my food. Can’t be mad at the service, they aren’t cooking!
