We highly recommend this place!!
The host was amazing and our server was really nice and attentive.
Will definitely visit again when in Pittsburgh.
The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful. Yesterday I had a cancel and I finally dined in. This is my place for now. Amazing. So many choices. Food was good portion and excellent. I really wish I could do take out for this place. I’m love and I will make time to stop back in.
Thank you Victoria for you service, recommendations and kindness.

Restaurant is located on an upper incline road that does not have enough parking spaces. There were elderly people parking at the preschool and had to walk.
Secondly, if you have to drop off those who are not able to walk up a hill and find parking. Why do they have to have a sign on their check-in podium stating, “can not be seated without your whole party?”
Third, after being seated, the approximate wait was less than 15 minutes, which is good for a Sunday. (Was my birthday breakfast).
It took our waitress another 10 minutes to just address us and another 10 to take our drink order.
We got the corn beef hash, home potatoes & eggs, turkey link sausage & eggs, and kielbasa & eggs.
The homestyle potatoes had no flavor, and the turkey link sausage was rubbery and disgusting. Between the three of us, we took a nibble of oe sausage and could not even swallow since it tasted weird.
Our waitress never came around. We had to ask the waitress next to us to request her. When she came to our table, I described the texture of the sausage and asked if she could replace it with the kielbasa.
The item came quickly, which was great!
When we got our check, we were surprised that she charged us $.25 to replace the food. It’s not the price but the principal.
We did not tip as well, and we will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The atmosphere and hostess are the only 3 stars this place will receive from us.
The place is always crowded and it reminds me of a beach place that is built for crowds.
I feel as if the staff are missing something… they aren’t outgoing friendly and welcoming. Even before Covid they were like this. They are efficient and don’t make mistakes but don’t usually greet you with and make you feel welcome. It’s almost as if they don’t enjoy their job. I don’t know.
Now does this mean I won’t eat there or I’ve had a horrible consistent experience – no. Like I said the good is great, I just wish for a different experience.
Time has not been kind to this place. We had to wait for a lunch spot even though the place was half empty as they do not have the staff to operate at capacity. Our waitress had been there for a long time and she knew the menu and the procedures, but was very distracted by having to deal with too many tables and so it took a long time to get through the meal. Our favorite dish (Mushroom Sherry Omelette) is no longer on the menu so we settled for two others. They were tasty enough.
One strange thing was the “Pastina” soup that came with the sandwiches. It was offered as an option instead of the Italian Wedding soup. When we got it, we noticed that it looked just like a wedding soup, with the little meatballs and all. Asking our waitress about it, she told us that the two soups are actually the same – they just add some spinach leaves if you order the Italian Wedding version! Needless to say, it also did not taste right … for either type… but that’s how they do it these days.

Large portions. Staff that tries hard. Serves breakfast items with a smattering of lunch sandwiches. I’m familiar with the chain from another state. To my taste buds, the sherry mushroom sauce is not as rich as elsewhere. Maybe it was just me…
Parking can be a challenge, which is annoying as the building interior is huge.
