We came in around 5:45 for dinner. Because they stopped cooking when they start running out, there were only three or four meals we could choose from. So, we chose the honey chicken over rice. The food was good while, thankfully, but there was no place to sit inside and the person at the cash register wasn’t overly helpful or friendly. So we place the order and had to go outside and sit add a picnic table until it was brought out to us in a to-go box. The inside of the store looked kind of cute, but we were focused on trying to get dinner.

Practically empty of anything to buy convenience-wise, and when you try to order food from the menu, out of anything you’d want to eat. Just ended up leaving. Really disappointing considering the “best burger in town” sign outside. Not worth the stop.

The burgers are thick but just taste okay. Too much seasoning for my tastes. They are expensive too $13.95. Burgers are cooked fairly quickly and to order. There are daily specials also available. Plus snacks and drinks like a regular store. You can call ahead to order
The location is conveniently close to the Karick campgrounds. It’s also easy to spot from the road. There is NO bathroom. I was told that I could use the porta potty across the street.

Too bad the woman is so rude. I don’t think she realized her voice carries when she is making sarcastic remarks about her own customer, who just spent a lot of money for two burgers. Then tries to say I’m only delaying my meal from being ready because I was walking in and out the door. Granted I told her I had my furr babies outside when I first came in, and it was a couple times. Didn’t realized how “annoying” I was. Sorry for driving out of my way to try this place out. Food was decent but the service was an absolute hell no for me.

This place is a hidden gem. Don’t let the outside fool you into thinking it’s just snacks for the road.
We actually stopped here kind of on accident. We were planning on going to the local BBQ place down the road, but was closed.
So, we kept driving and not too far, we saw the sign that said “Best Burger in Town!” and serving pizza.
We figured a burger would be a good idea. When we walked in, we could instantly tell more than burgers were being prepared. The delicious smells told us so! We looked at the Specials Board and Cristina was serving Orange chicken over rice, with Lumpia or Chicken Fried rice with Lumpia. We ordered one of each. The food came out fresh and hot. It was cooked to perfection.
Hands down the best Orange Chicken and Lumpia I’ve ever had. The flavors were outstanding and you could tell Cristina put a lot of love and knowledge into her cooking. We aren’t from the area, but just passing through while staying nearby. We have tried lots of food from all of our travels, and this ranks pretty high on our list and place we will definitely return to.
I don’t usually take the time to write Google reviews, but I felt like Cristina’s food deserved a real review! If you’re a local and haven’t tried this place, you are missing out!

Food is insanely good! I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago and I keep coming back! Everything comes out very fresh and hot. The orange chicken and honey chicken is probably the best I’ve ever had! Christina is a very good cook and is super sweet! Would recommend this place to anyone!
