Poseidon Greek Restaurant & Outdoor Lounge began with a passion to share the authentic flavors of Greece in the heart of South Beach. Inspired by the belief that food should nourish the body and soul, our chefs use golden krocus kozanis, herbs from Kalamata, and fresh Aegean seafood to craft every dish. Crisp white tables and ocean-blue walls transport you straight to the Greek islands, where sun, sea, and simplicity rule. We offer not just a meal—but a true journey to the shores of Greece.
Modern spot offering upscale Greek fare made with oil from the owner’s olive groves, plus a patio.

This place is such a vibe! The seafood was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, each dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive, and went above and beyond to make our evening special. Outstanding food, excellent service.
A Little Taste of the Sea — Greek Style!
Would recommend
Our only pet peeve is that we were a bit hot in the restaurant but we were also seated by the large window and it is summer in Miami.
We celebrated a birthday and were treated wonderfully. We will be back!
The grilled octopus was some of the best I’ve had outside Greece, soft and tender on the inside while crispy on the outside. The fried seafood platter was a generous assortment of thick, juicy pieces of calamari and shrimp. The monastery seafood pasta dish was likewise delicious, the shrimp tasting like they just came from the sea and the tomato sauce fresh and delicately seasoned with fresh herbs and olive oil imported from the owners’ family olive groves in Kalamata. The Greek salad was a true horiatiki, the cucumbers, olives, onions, feta and tomatoes tasting just like you were eating it in a taverna in Greece.
Once again, we ate too much to leave room for dessert but the Greek coffee was the perfect finish to such a wonderful meal. The reception from chef Dimitris and his brother, Vasilis, was as warm and welcoming as it could possibly be and our server, Argyris, was extremely warm, friendly and attentive as well. All in all, a wonderful restaurant with exquistite dishes, beautifully run by a lovely family and staff. You will leave already planning out your next visit back.
I ordered the Whole Branzino, and it was outstanding!!!! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and so fresh. I really appreciate the chef! 100/10. Highly recommend to try that dish. Fyi; special discount on Sundays for $25 only.
I rarely leave Google reviews, but this one was well deserved.
