Without doubt the food was amazing – especially the octopus, branzino and tuna tartar. The red shrimp was good but more like a cesar salad. Cocktails also good as was the banter from the friendly guy serving us. The only point a slight challenge to us was the added 20% service charge then requested tip adding further 15 – 25%. It seemed excessive as we r from the UK and not used to this. It added a lot to the final bill and we didn’t experience same elsewhere..?

The food is delicious; it’s been my favorite restaurant for several years. The food is very fresh, the seafood and fish are delicious, the branzino is 10/10. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable, perfect for spending time with family or friends. The service is excellent; the staff is very attentive!

There are a lot of tourist trap restaurants in South Beach, with overpriced and unimpressive food, where you feel like you’re only there to pay. This isn’t one of them. While my wife and I visited South Beach, this was the best meal we had! The seafood was delicious, and even had thoughtful presentation. Some of the ideas in the food I hadn’t seen before, like oranges in the scallops, and I think it made for a fresh taste and experience which I enjoyed. My wife had the Salmon, which I tasted, and it was really top notch.

Authentic Greek restaurant on Miami Beach. Looks unassuming from the outside but the food is the star. We were a party of 9 who tried a variety of dishes and EVERYONE loved their dish. The shrimp pasta’s sauce is dreamy and 3 in our party devoured it. They have daily specials that are very affordable and worth it.
Our only pet peeve is that we were a bit hot in the restaurant but we were also seated by the large window and it is summer in Miami.
We celebrated a birthday and were treated wonderfully. We will be back!

Poseidon is a fantastic Greek restaurant that specializes in the freshest seafood and fish prepared excellently, featuring traditional Greek and Mediterranean recipes with a nouvelle flair.
The grilled octopus was some of the best I’ve had outside Greece, soft and tender on the inside while crispy on the outside. The fried seafood platter was a generous assortment of thick, juicy pieces of calamari and shrimp. The monastery seafood pasta dish was likewise delicious, the shrimp tasting like they just came from the sea and the tomato sauce fresh and delicately seasoned with fresh herbs and olive oil imported from the owners’ family olive groves in Kalamata. The Greek salad was a true horiatiki, the cucumbers, olives, onions, feta and tomatoes tasting just like you were eating it in a taverna in Greece.
Once again, we ate too much to leave room for dessert but the Greek coffee was the perfect finish to such a wonderful meal. The reception from chef Dimitris and his brother, Vasilis, was as warm and welcoming as it could possibly be and our server, Argyris, was extremely warm, friendly and attentive as well. All in all, a wonderful restaurant with exquistite dishes, beautifully run by a lovely family and staff. You will leave already planning out your next visit back.

I stop by Poseidon every time I visit Miami, it’s the best spot for Greek food! We’re always served by Argyris, who provides such lovely service. We’ll be back soon!

I actually entered this restaurant by accident while heading to the place next door..but I’m so glad I did. Alhamdulilah! From the moment I walked in, the server was kind and genuinely welcoming.
I ordered the Whole Branzino, and it was outstanding!!!! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and so fresh. I really appreciate the chef! 100/10. Highly recommend to try that dish. Fyi; special discount on Sundays for $25 only.
