On our first visit, Jack was our waiter and he was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful right from the start. I ordered a build-your-own omelette, and it was literally the best omelette I have ever had. I also enjoyed a cotton candy mimosa and an orange juice mimosa — both were not only delicious, but beautifully presented. My boyfriend loved his coffee, and everything he shared with me was just as amazing. The turnaround time for our food was perfect — fast, fresh, and never rushed.
The restaurant itself was very clean, and the atmosphere was simple, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Before we left that first visit, we grabbed pastries to go… and oh my — best decision ever.
We talked about this place to everyone we came across during our trip and decided we had to stop one more time on our way back home. I was so excited that Jack was our waiter again! I ordered the same omelette, and somehow it was even better the second time.
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot — this is it. If it wasn’t a 5-hour drive from home, I would come here all the time.
Jack deserves a special shout-out for making both visits so wonderful. Between the amazing food, beautiful presentation, great pricing, perfect service timing, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere — this is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my travels, and I’m already looking forward to coming back someday.
Highly, highly recommend.
Food is good. Coffee is OK. Pluses: Fresh O.J., pure maple syrup. Minuses: Jelly packets instead of house made jams; no turkey or chicken sausages, no breakfast potatoes other than frozen fries; turkey breast not fresh; no salt or pepper on the table.
The menu stated the chicken salad was famous. I asked my server if we could get a side to try it out and he said no, only a half pound. I don’t understand why so many in the hospitality biz these days say “NO” right away.
Overall, food is good and expensive. It’s definitely a once in a while breakfast spot.
