We had such an incredible meal there this morning! We are so so sad to have only found this place on our last day because we absolutely would have gone every morning- it was that great! Our server Jack had wonderful recommendations and made a delicious cappuccino. I got the croque monsieur, my husband got the crab cake Benedict, and my mother-in-law got the Swiss crepe. Everything was incredible! Truly such a great experience overall. Staff was very friendly, food was fresh, the baked goods all looked delightful, and the atmosphere is great! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy The French Bakery again!!!

This French bakery was hands down the food highlight of our entire trip. When I say the food was amazing, that is truly an understatement — and the prices were honestly incredible for what you receive.

On our first visit, Jack was our waiter and he was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful right from the start. I ordered a build-your-own omelette, and it was literally the best omelette I have ever had. I also enjoyed a cotton candy mimosa and an orange juice mimosa — both were not only delicious, but beautifully presented. My boyfriend loved his coffee, and everything he shared with me was just as amazing. The turnaround time for our food was perfect — fast, fresh, and never rushed.

The restaurant itself was very clean, and the atmosphere was simple, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Before we left that first visit, we grabbed pastries to go… and oh my — best decision ever.

We talked about this place to everyone we came across during our trip and decided we had to stop one more time on our way back home. I was so excited that Jack was our waiter again! I ordered the same omelette, and somehow it was even better the second time.

If you’re looking for a breakfast spot — this is it. If it wasn’t a 5-hour drive from home, I would come here all the time.

Jack deserves a special shout-out for making both visits so wonderful. Between the amazing food, beautiful presentation, great pricing, perfect service timing, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere — this is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my travels, and I’m already looking forward to coming back someday.

Highly, highly recommend.

We had a great experience at this café! They serve both breakfast and lunch, offering a wide variety of menu options. The pastries and freshly baked items are absolutely delicious and perfect for taking on the go. The latte was perfectly flavorful and complemented my meal beautifully which was the salmon avocado toast. Our server, Miguel, was attentive and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend !

Wife and I rode our bikes to shelter cove to grab a late breakfast here, was our first visit. We had a 5 min wait which was fast in my opinion. I had the Crepe w Nutella and it did not disappoint! Strawberries with it were perfect. I also had the Cafe Au Lait. My wife had the Four Cheese Omlet, very fluffy and cheesy, that was good too. Certainly will return.

A perfect breakfast and service. Our server, Nick, made sure we had everything we wanted and threw in a few werewolf howls for effect. Atmosphere was relaxed and the whole place was decorated nicely for Halloween. I had lovely quiche which came with a large salad and toasted baguette. My husband had the wonderful croque monsieur. And the lattes were gigantic and fabulous! We will be back!

Very ambitious menu with breakfast and lunch options. Indoor and outdoor seating. French bakery with amazing pastries.

Food is good. Coffee is OK. Pluses: Fresh O.J., pure maple syrup. Minuses: Jelly packets instead of house made jams; no turkey or chicken sausages, no breakfast potatoes other than frozen fries; turkey breast not fresh; no salt or pepper on the table.

The menu stated the chicken salad was famous. I asked my server if we could get a side to try it out and he said no, only a half pound. I don’t understand why so many in the hospitality biz these days say “NO” right away.

Overall, food is good and expensive. It’s definitely a once in a while breakfast spot.

This place is amazing!!! Our waiter Nick, was fabulous! Our family of 10 went twice in a week and everyone loved everything we got. Food was fresh and delicious and our waiter was attentive, friendly and caring. The crepes are delicious and the bread was so good and fresh we got loaves to go to enjoy at home. The coffee was exactly what we all needed. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Nick and the French Bakery!
